Who would you want in a neutral site game & where?

Excluding bowls, conference title games and playoffs.

If I had a choice, I'd say Michigan vs Texas at Soldier Field.

Honorable mention: Michigan vs LSU at Lambeau Field

Michigan vs Miami in the first round of the inaugural 8-team playoff for the new "super-division" football championship in 2016: in December at Soldier Field.

If we look at NFL venues that are large enough and close enough to alumni bases that it might be financially lucrative, then Michigan versus Florida or Georgia at a place like, say, FedEx Field might be interesting. I sort of like the idea of Michigan-USC at MetLife too - I doubt you would have any trouble filling up that stadium for that game. I don't know if it is strictly neutral given one fanbase wouldn't be going too far, but say Michigan-LSU at Cowboys Stadium - that could be fun as well, I think.

Given that the financial model for schools is premised on a certain number of home games, I was trying to think of teams and places that might make it work both teams' effort.

Arrowhead Stadium. I've always wanted to see Michigan vs Georgia in the Big House, but I'd settle for this. It's 853 miles for them and 725 miles for us. About as neutral as you can get travel wise.

So I feel like a lot of these choices are not so "neutral" sites in the sense that one team has a significantly bigger local fan base than the other.

WIth that in mind I'd say Wisconsin or Notre Dame at Soldier Field.  or maybe one of the two back to back away MSU games could be at a neutral site?

How much impact does that have on the ticket sales though? Not being snarky, I am curious if you have a large number of tickets go from team A to team B because the team A fans do not want to travel that far and the team B fans snap them up on stub hub.

I am ignorant about those dynamics.
