I don't know anything about him. But since we're always getting this kind of thread now, I'd like to know if anyone's got any info on what Charles Grodin has been doing lately????

He's not in a Daren Kitchen situation.  He's been given an offer, and Michigan is pursuing him.  The Rivals mods say that he's an ILB prospect, although I think he's more of an OLB.

Yes, that's a pretty big difference.  The inch of height isn't huge (though it helps) but 25 lbs is big.  An LB coming in at 190 has a ways to go, one coming in at 215 isn't far from playing time.

I tend to trust Rivals more than Scout on stuff like that. Why? I don't really have a good reason, except maybe the fact that Scout's website looks like it was developed by a 4-year old*. Or maybe it's because I have a Rivals subscription. I dunno. * I do realize I am doing a disservice to most 4-year olds with this statement

for some type of Woodson-Long union and the beasts that would supply talent to every position. Actually, every position except QB--Shoelace does not require any genetic improvement.

Seems like he has some good size. Hopefully we can pick up Frost and maybe this kid for our weak LB corp. Need to replenish the LB position since Ezeh and Mouton are definitely gone after this season.

His reputation is expanding larger than Michigan Stadium.

He wears a helmet - to protect other players.

He once missed a tackle - just to see what it felt like.

He plays offense, defense and special teams - at the same time.

He is . . . the most interesting recruit in the world.
