Who do you think will wear #2 jersey?

In an attempt to get away from all of the negative Dunn comments, I thought I would try to spark a conversation and I came across this.

Me my bro @Dymonte1 and my dude @JourdanJD lookin crazy twitter.com/RDouglas_21/st…

— Ross Douglas (@RDouglas_21) July 30, 2012

I noticed that Ross Douglas tried on the #2 jersey which Hoke has said will be held for the top DB.

EDIT: It is actually Jourdan Lewis wearing the #2 jersey.

So who do you think out of the touted 2013 class could end up wearing the Deuce jersey?

Candidates? Candidates:

Gareon Conley

Jourdan Lewis

Dymonte Thomas

Ross Douglas

and any other DB prospect I forgot.

My best guess would be Jourdan Lewis, his athleticism reminds me of Woodson so....that helps.

Well, Blake Countess will probably have a year with it.  So unless a freshman comes out crazy, they will have to wait a few years.

I have a close friend that played on that Irish team. Always stated how he, Montana, and most of the scholarship players couldn’t stand Rudy. They always called him the “Whining little A**hole”, as he’d always complain and say he could such-in-such task better. He hated the movie, but said he saw how it was made because Rudy pestered you to death, would embellish outlandishly, and never take “no” for an answer.

IMO there should be strict requirements to be labeled as a "legend."  Is  #20 going to be a legend jersey?  It should be special and not watered down.  Heisman or in heisman talks.  The only guy that should get a legends jersey from this team is #16 based on all of the records he has broken/has the chance to break.  Plus he has been in talks for heisman 2 years straight with a year left on the field.

Hard-hitting defensive back who also handled punt returns for the Wolverines. The Greensboro, NC., native was a two-time consensus All-American selection. Welborne recorded 238 tackles in his three years in the defensive secondary and returned 67 punts for 773 yards. During his senior year (1990), Welborne set a single-season record for punt return yardage with 455. If Hoke doesn't mind giving it to a safety, then I think Dymonte Thomas will be the best overall defensive back within two or three years.  But if we're talking strictly about cornerbacks, Jourdan Lewis seems most likely.

i'd like to see only the top senior or junior DB wear the #2 jersey. That's corners and safeties alike.

Same with the #1 jersey and WRs respectively.

I think either Jarrod Wilson or D. Thomas. Both will be studs as safeties. I wanna see how Terry Richardson plays.

Way too early to make any predictions for the 2013 class, or even the 2012 guys. I think we can now make a strong case that Countess can get it. If he has an all Big Ten year this year, which I think he will, he'll be wearing #2 come 2013.

Longtime lurker I believe Blake Countess will get it. Has a demeanor and swag about him. Remember when most wanted Dallas Crawford over him. Happy to have Countess here.

It's too early for a freshman to get it but I think it should go to Countess. He stepped up big as a freshman and he's only going to improve as years go by.

Over the past couple of years so I would vote for him this year.  If Blake steps up then he should get it in 2013.  We have no idea of how the recruits will perform.
