But what if Craig Roh blows up on the field this year? Then his 88-ness for years is discounted?
Who do you think should wear Oosterbaan's #47 Saturday?
I personally watched him win matchup battles quite a few times sat. I could see it from my shit seats so to me, that kid deserves it. He's not pretty but he is all go and no quit. By far my favorite player to root for on D behind Kovacs.
uhhh, Bennie.... Oosterbaan?
All I know is the Legends patch is still one of the worst pieces of graphic design I've ever seen. And to think someone probably gets paid for this...
I'll put my hat in the ring for Jake Ryan.
Both Bennie and Jake have the best flows of their respective times.
I have to break the haiku format for this one.
I officially dislike the legend jerseys. I was okay with Hemingway and the Howard jersey last year. But this is too much. Like others have said, if we are going to make a big deal out of bringing numbers out of retirement, then it needs to actually be a big deal. No offense to anyone on our team, but these jerseys simply haven't been earned yet. I'm very disappointed in this new "tradition".
How about TE Mike Kwiatkowski?
give it to Kovacs.
Kovacs is a great choice!!!
eye brows 88
Dont neg me.
Also I like the idea of un-retiring these numbers. Most fans would have never noticed that certain numbers were missing, and if they did, they wouldn't necessarily know the story behind the player having his jersey retired. Out of sight, out of mind.
Having a patch on the jersey denoting the number lets everyone know that "hey - this number is special to this team."
Also - some who claim that these special jerseys shouldn't be worn unless the player is equal to the exploits of the player who led to its retirement - well, you'll be waiting forever if you do that. How many Tom Harmons or Charles Woodsons come along? Give these special jerseys to seniors who deserve it for what they've done off the field as much as on the field.
