Me and my buddy are flying in from Massachusetts for the game. We're gonna have to get our tickets from a scalper since we don't have any.

Does anyone know how much we should ask for tickets from scalpers?

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

I always find it amusing when we chant the usual "Sieve Sieve Sieve Sive, It's all your fault It's all your fault, It's all your fault, It's all your FAULT" when well, it was an empty net goal, lol.

Did not realize online tickets needed to be printed.  I'll be in the endzone somewhere.  Looking forward to seethe field and locker room on Friday night, then heading to Maize and Blue Deli for some grub!   For the hockey game..........I'll be sitting next to my keg of Yuengling.

...with no tickets in hand.

A bit leery, since I also did that in '98 and ended up watching from a TGIFridays near the Fleet.  Sad puppy.

Of course, I was a penniless recent graduate back then.  Hopefully things will be different this time, as long as the UMD demand doesn't make things difficult.  And as long as sulking UND fans don't stick around in droves to player-hate from the sidelines...and flick-off more college student-athletes on national TV.

Please keep the ticket updates coming!

EDIT: Anybody know anything about club level at the Xcel?

Student section for the win!

There were only a few NoDak fans that somehow got tickets to section 119 from (presumably) bad Michigan fans, so I'm assuming you're SOL if you want in on that section.  Aiming for 120,121, and 117/118 would be your best bet if you don't want to sit with a bunch of Duluth fans.

Minneapolis Craiglist is currently on fire with ND (no, not that ND, and yes, that ND) fans trying to get rid of their tickets and get out of town. I would go there first. You should have no problem getting tickets in the $75-$100 range.

I agree with the previous comment.  Just talked to a guy who got me 5 tickets, he said there will be absolutely no problem getting more tomorrow.  I guess there is a fan fest outside the Xcel Energy Center at 2, so scalpers should be everywhere.  Then the teams arrive at 430.  I am pumped, can't wait.  Go Blue!

Duluth doesn't have a huge fan base. It's a pretty small school, and the hockey team doesn't generate much buzz even on campus. There's just no way the UMD fans' ticket demand will soak up the huge glut left by North Dakota, which has a huge fan base that will kill kittens for their team (and who have been moping around downtown Minneapolis all day waiting for the Twins home opener).
