White pants @ Iowa?
From the Uniwatch Blog today (it's about 80% down the post):
According to a post on the Chris Creamer board, there are rumors a-flyin’ about Michigan possibly wearing white pants on October 10th at Iowa.
Anyone else heard this rumor? I loved the thin blue/maize/blue striping from the mid 70s.

On Saturday night the nation’s eyes will be on Iowa City.
For the first time in nearly 40 years, storied rival Michigan will play in their all-white uniforms when freshman QB Tate Forcier makes his first visit to Kinnick Stadium.
Let’s make sure the Wolverines stick out like a sore thumb amongst the 70,585 Hawkeye faithful wearing black and let’s make sure when Forcier leaves Iowa City, he has no doubt in his mind which Big Ten stadium is the most hostile.

I have no idea. I would think if the email is real that he would know for sure that we are wearing white pants.

From today's Daily:
"Against Iowa, the Wolverines may complement their white away jerseys with white pants, but an Athletic Department spokesman told The Michigan Daily last night he had “no definitive answer.” The uniform change would include everyone, even the 300-pound linemen.
“I can’t imagine,” left tackle Mark Ortmann said with a laugh. “We already have some pretty self-conscious offensive linemen. I don’t know if that will help out.""
"no definitive answer"=attempt at making some kind of surprise entrance with the white pants?

I really hope these rumors pan out. I've been telling co-workers and friends all week that we're wearing white pants.
Also, lets get this thread bumped around gametime tomorrow to get people's reactions. I'm envisioning a million threads popping up - "What's with the white pants??" "White pants UGHHH!!" etc, etc.

Here is a mock up with white striped pants, which I did when I first heard the rumor. I figured Adidas would use the same template, just filling in the parts, with the main stripe being yellow to match the jersey stripe. I would prefer this to plain white pants.
