By break out I mean showing the largest improvement or, in the case of a freshman or first time contributor, coming in and greatly exceeding expectations/not playing like a freshman (e.g., Roh last year).
I'm going to go with RVB. I think the new(ish) scheme will fit him well and he has some good experience. He also got to play alongside BG and understands how he needs to step up to fill some enormous shoes.

Call me crazy, but I think JT Floyd is going to surprise people this year. He made some nice tackles and hits in the spring game, he's playing with more swagger and confidence, and he's really improved leaps and bounds from last year. I think he's going to lockdown the 2nd CB spot (with Woolfolk having the #1 CB spot).

It's hard to disagree with RVB/Roh/Campbell, but if this secondary can be average, I think Woolfolk improves the most. He's THE fastest guy on the field and if we can actually keep him at one position this year, I think he'll have his "break-out" season.

Will Campbell will only open things up for two of those three guys because we are only playing with a three man line this year..
I second the "O let do it" chant. Let's get Demar in to Michigan, I really hope he makes it in by the fall. Our secondary is good at chasing open recievers all over the field right now, and I would much rather see a guy pick it off and take it the other direction.
If Dorsey doesn't make it, then Cam Gordon has to be the guy. Our pass defense will be the reason this team makes it or not this year. Our offense will score plenty of points, but the D will decide if it's enough.

I am hoping some of the
I am hoping some of the freshman have a breakout year. So my picks are Dorsey, Christian, M-Rob, and Ash. We need a few of these guys to step up and provide some much needed depth on defense.
Picks
Returning Player that will break out: I think this could be a number of guys but I am going with Mike Martin. I think he is versatile and will allow us to do different things on the D-Line that we haven't been able to in the past. Hopefully, his shoulder will successfully heal and no setbacks will occur.
Freshman that will break out/contribute: I am going out on a limb but I believe Marvin Robinson will start or see significant minutes at one of our 3 safety positions. I think he just needs to learn the schemes and eventually his athletic ability and physical stature will supplant either Thomas Gordon or Kovacs.
The turnaround begins in 2010.
