Which MGoBloggers have disappeared that you would like to see come back?
Thread title says it all. MGoShoe is one who doesn't seem to post anymore. Going farther back, it was always fun to see MGoJen post something and there would immediately be 10 guys trying to stalk her and ask her out.
Which people can you remember who made valuable contributions to the MGoCommunity, and now are absent?

Misopogan is Seth now.
February 10th, 2012 at 12:58 PM ^
Not sure if serious about Misopogon...
February 10th, 2012 at 3:59 PM ^
MGoShoe is back.

THE_KNOWLEDGE is still here, to the best of MY_KNOWLEDGE.
.
yes
.
He was last seen on the TWENTY-FIRST of December to announce the winner of THE QUESTION, the TOP FRIEND, and the horribly vacant CO-SOARER
.
yes
.
However, THE KNOWLEDGE did not make his promised SUGAR BOWL post. Thus, he has been AWOL for about a month and a half now, which is not enough to make the disappearence of such an illustrious figure a concern yet

The original "THE KNOWLEDGE" had no underscore. The original one posted far more often and seemed to really take it personally if you didn't believe his predictions (like Steve Sarkisian to replace Lloyd Carr).
I suspect "THE_KNOWLEDGE" is just some other poster spoofing the original.

For me, WolvinLA1.
February 10th, 2012 at 3:14 PM ^
But not WolvinLA. That guy was a douche.
February 10th, 2012 at 12:58 PM ^
I almost feel like I should duck while saying this, but... Dex. I know he's moved onto greener pastures (and unicorns) but, while sometimes polarizing, he was hilarious.
February 10th, 2012 at 1:03 PM ^
He was a total ass, but definitely made me laugh on many occasions.
February 10th, 2012 at 1:20 PM ^
Dex was a rad dude, and a very very good writer. I look forward to the one or two times a year he posts something at the WLA
February 10th, 2012 at 12:59 PM ^
I just don't see much from that guy anymore...usually had interesting things to say.
In all seriousness, Big Boutros...I dont remember if he was that good of a poster, but had a funny avatar that fit his name perfectly
February 10th, 2012 at 3:24 PM ^
That is who I was thinking of as well.
To the other poster bringing up mgoshoe he is still here just not as much. See the Act of Valor thread.

but it's a lot less frequent than it used to be. I'd say TomVH and Tim as well. I like to think they come lurk, but probably have stipulations in their contracts about participating here.
I also think that the_Knowledge might just be a pseudonym that Brian uses because he thinks the original was so funny
February 10th, 2012 at 1:07 PM ^
wolverine318, he was a cool dude.
February 10th, 2012 at 1:10 PM ^
Forgot about him. Seemed like kind of a spaz, but not a bad dude.
February 10th, 2012 at 1:53 PM ^
His avatar was awesome.
February 10th, 2012 at 3:12 PM ^
Hmm. Professor X joined up right when Wolverine318 disappeared...
February 10th, 2012 at 1:09 PM ^
WHY DIDN'T YOU PUT "META" IN THE TITLE OF THIS THREAD?!?!?!?!
I miss Dex. And MGoObes. And G_Simmons or whatever his handle was.
February 10th, 2012 at 1:11 PM ^
Did he graduate or something? I still say he was one of the players... GUY KNEW IT ALLLLLLL.
February 10th, 2012 at 1:12 PM ^
Nah, he didn't even go to Michigan. He was just an avid reader of Scout, from what I gather.
February 10th, 2012 at 1:16 PM ^
If he made you promise not to rat him out, just say so Magnus. Don't patronize us.
February 10th, 2012 at 1:19 PM ^
He made me promise not to tell you that he's actually Martavious Odoms.
February 10th, 2012 at 1:22 PM ^
Speaking of Lego Martavious Odoms, I've been dragging my feet with the realization that it may very well be time to retire the Lego avatar.
But then what? I still have a Lego Vince, a Lego Roh and Lego Denard somewhere... or should we go with something a little more Blockham, if you know what I mean...?
February 10th, 2012 at 1:27 PM ^
You should use all the family members and rotate every couple of months. Start with Bonnie when she woke up in the middle of the night after the bowl victory. My wife laughed so hard at that one when I showed her b/c our son pulled the same thing that night.
February 10th, 2012 at 1:27 PM ^
If you make me a Lego Kate Upton, I promise I'll make it my avatar.
February 10th, 2012 at 1:30 PM ^
Make mine a Lego Miranda Kerr, please.
February 10th, 2012 at 1:50 PM ^
But not for the reason you think . . .
/homage
February 10th, 2012 at 2:06 PM ^
Classic. Obes was so "in the know - underground - cooler than you" he was great. He was like Magnus & aaamichfan's lovechild.
#respect
February 10th, 2012 at 2:33 PM ^
There was something ever so comforting about an Obes post. It's like we'd be having our biweekly meltdown over something or other and Obes would say something very calming to make the latest crisis much less crisis-y.

I miss jhackney and his nuclear explosions.
February 10th, 2012 at 1:26 PM ^
HARD EDGE WEEK! Yes I miss jhackney as well.
February 10th, 2012 at 1:35 PM ^
I miss the late night threads that he used to create. Being the the west coast those late night threads were perfect for me.
February 10th, 2012 at 1:48 PM ^
Thirded or fourthed or whatever.....Sure do miss seeing those nuclear (nucleer) blasts and especially the one with Slim Pickens riding the big one down on Roossia from "Dr. Strangelove!"
February 10th, 2012 at 1:57 PM ^
A'freakin men. He kinda disapeared after Rich Rod was fired. Too bad I miss the nuclear explosions.
February 10th, 2012 at 2:02 PM ^
He'd be my number one pick. He was still doing his wacked out diaries once a week during the season. But those late night threads were often due to some extra free time, and I think he got a job in Michigan that had him moving from Pittsburgh, and duh, working, so the free time went away. But the bowl season wasn't the same without him. Thank God we were at least in a bowl to distract from the pain.

King of Belch and his many incarnates, and the Big triplets: Big Boutros, Big Redacted, and Big House 500th. Big Redacted was in need of a hug, some Xanax or both. Steve Sharik; he was the reason I joined the blog in the first place. I entered a state of MGodepression when jhackney and 'Shoe disappeared.
"Roll Damn Tide, you ain't goin' nowhere. Step back from the fence!" *racks shotgun*.
February 10th, 2012 at 1:10 PM ^
Easily the dude I miss the most. When I first arrived he was one of the first who actually realized I existed, so I took notice to that for sure.... But the guy had a great delivery that was both hilarious and intelligent at the same time.
February 10th, 2012 at 1:11 PM ^
BCRE is no longer among us. His haterism will be missed by some. Not many, mind you... but some.
February 10th, 2012 at 1:15 PM ^
Did he leave of his own accord, or was he booted? When he wasn't ranting about something, he usually had good insights on things.
February 10th, 2012 at 1:22 PM ^
...by someone well above me on the food chain. He seemed like a bright and articulate guy or girl (okay, guy), but his constant Drew Sharp-ness finally wore out his welcome.
February 10th, 2012 at 1:28 PM ^
Was this recent? I feel like I've seen a post of his in the last week...or is that BRCE?
February 10th, 2012 at 1:32 PM ^
Typo. I meant BRCE. And yep, it was last week I believe.
February 10th, 2012 at 2:30 PM ^
...Thank You.
February 10th, 2012 at 2:41 PM ^
I think if we're going to keep this post-moderating system, we should at least change the karma values to 2, 1, and BRCE in honor of the guy who could always be counted on to have grayed-out posts.
February 10th, 2012 at 3:31 PM ^
That dude loved trolling. His work during the Tigers' playoff run was just too much. He would be all over a thread if they were losing, but when they won or looked good there was not a post to be found.
February 10th, 2012 at 5:17 PM ^
You're in the legal profession, no? In that case, you should know that the key to success in corporate America is stealing the credit when someone else does something good. AKA this. Just let us surmise that you were the one to give him the boot next time
