Which MGoBloggers have disappeared that you would like to see come back?

Submitted by aaamichfan on

Thread title says it all. MGoShoe is one who doesn't seem to post anymore. Going farther back, it was always fun to see MGoJen post something and there would immediately be 10 guys trying to stalk her and ask her out.

Which people can you remember who made valuable contributions to the MGoCommunity, and now are absent?

THE_KNOWLEDGE is still here, to the best of MY_KNOWLEDGE.

.

yes

.

He was last seen on the TWENTY-FIRST of December to announce the winner of THE QUESTION, the TOP FRIEND, and the horribly vacant CO-SOARER

.

yes

.

However, THE KNOWLEDGE did not make his promised SUGAR BOWL post. Thus, he has been AWOL for about a month and a half now, which is not enough to make the disappearence of such an illustrious figure a concern yet

The original "THE KNOWLEDGE" had no underscore.  The original one posted far more often and seemed to really take it personally if you didn't believe his predictions (like Steve Sarkisian to replace Lloyd Carr).

I suspect "THE_KNOWLEDGE" is just some other poster spoofing the original.

I almost feel like I should duck while saying this, but... Dex. I know he's moved onto greener pastures (and unicorns) but, while sometimes polarizing, he was hilarious.

I just don't see much from that guy anymore...usually had interesting things to say.

In all seriousness, Big Boutros...I dont remember if he was that good of a poster, but had a funny avatar that fit his name perfectly

but it's a lot less frequent than it used to be. I'd say TomVH and Tim as well. I like to think they come lurk, but probably have stipulations in their contracts about participating here.

I also think that the_Knowledge might just be a pseudonym that Brian uses because he thinks the original was so funny

Speaking of Lego Martavious Odoms, I've been dragging my feet with the realization that it may very well be time to retire the Lego avatar.

But then what?  I still have a Lego Vince, a Lego Roh and Lego Denard somewhere... or should we go with something a little more Blockham, if you know what I mean...?

He'd be my number one pick. He was still doing his wacked out diaries once a week during the season.  But those late night threads were often due to some extra free time, and I think he got a job in Michigan that had him moving from Pittsburgh, and duh, working, so the free time went away.  But the bowl season wasn't the same without him.  Thank God we were at least in a bowl to distract from the pain.

King of Belch and his many incarnates, and the Big triplets: Big Boutros, Big Redacted, and Big House 500th. Big Redacted was in need of a hug, some Xanax or both. Steve Sharik; he was the reason I joined the blog in the first place. I entered a state of MGodepression when jhackney and 'Shoe disappeared.

"Roll Damn Tide, you ain't goin' nowhere. Step back from the fence!" *racks shotgun*.

Easily the dude I miss the most.  When I first arrived he was one of the first who actually realized I existed, so I took notice to that for sure.... But the guy had a great delivery that was both hilarious and intelligent at the same time.

You're in the legal profession, no? In that case, you should know that the key to success in corporate America is stealing the credit when someone else does something good. AKA this. Just let us surmise that you were the one to give him the boot next time
