Which looks better on Michigan? Away socks debate.
I have always wanted to ask this question and it's simple, but yet it's a question I've always wanted to ask on here. When it comes to Michigan's away look for road games do you prefer the Wolverines to wear white socks or blue socks? In your opinion which looks better with an away jersey? I always thought the white socks looked better with our road jersey and looked sharper with the maize pants.
Blue socks.
Blue. Not only sleeker, but the white tend to get mud on them throughout the game and remind me of my dirty laundry bin.

One thing I miss about having Fieldturf is that we never get grass stains on our uniforms at home anymore.

I have a better idea: for the sake of uniformity, all members of the team will wear the same socks. They will be maize, white, and blue bumblebee stripes!
but we may need to neg this comment just to hide it from Brandon and his staffers or we will end up in clown socks like these:
It used to be, "for the sake of uniformity", that a team would wear the SAME UNIFORM all year, or even better, all the time.

Maybe I'm just really tired, but are you really asking everyone what sock color they prefer? Maybe we should debate next whether the players wear boxer briefs or boxers?
Maybe the offense should wear boxers to keep things loose, while the defense wears briefs to help them contain not only the opposing offense, but also their valuables.
Centers to wear briefs.
It scares me that you may know this! And fergodsakes, it may even scare me more to know how you found this out! 8P

White and it's not even close in my mind. High whites with black shoes make everybody look cooler and a hell of a lot faster IMO.....

When I read the title, I thought "white away, blue home, obvs; black shoes always." It seems I am in a small (or not as vocal) minority; the Blues have it. However, I don't think 70's; I think late-90's, early 00's. That uniform Brady is wearing, period, should be our away uni, maybe updated without the stripes the way they are (though I'd keep 'em). And socks- maybe some block M's on them too.

If I absolutely had to choose one, it would be blue, but I don't mind the white socks either.
Hey, they could come out wearing hot pink everything, but as long as they win, it doesn't matter.

Dark socks in football are like dark socks with shorts. Bad.
My favorite away uniforms were always the 1997 version, so white sox it is.

The white socks don't look good with the black shoes. We look like a bunch of Grandpas.
The dark socks are far and away better.
