Which hat will Chris Bryant be picking up?

Sorry, nothing revelatory here - just impatient and curious.

To me this seems like a huge recruit (no pun intended) for Michigan.  I'm a bit nervous about Magee's last minute influence to reel him in last night.  It does not help that Magee was just fired by Michigan, has developed a good relationship with Bryant, and would know just how to spin the experience he just had at Michigan.  Does anyone have any word on what way Bryant is leaning?

Bryant is a big time commit. We will likely get Jordan Diamond if we get Bryant.

Simeon is a good school to have an "in" with, and it will be nice to be able to target it.

was supposed to be a long shot anyways. Arizona O-line coach bill bedenbaugh just left  to go to WVU, and illinois is still illinois. I think we have a good shot.

at Pitt as he did at Michigan?  If so, why is he going so hard after Bryant?  Besides the fact he's beast, he does not exactly fit the protypical OL for the scheme Magee has been running.

hey Tex...   I was concerned about McGee too, but if we think about it, what on Earth can he say with a straight face, after selling the Michigan program to him for so long?  That the new program is better?   I mean, I would think it'd be quite transparent, and if a recruit cannot see that, well....

Cooper will be Blue.

It is Willingham who is the one I'm sweating about. Only because I think he is gonna be great.

I don't remember Sam Webb saying anything about Bryant during the Recruiting Roundup. He talked a little bit about Rawls and Barnett. Said Rawls might get an offer even if he doesn't already have a qualifying test score, and that he believed that Rawls will be in the 2011 class--thinks he'll sign an LOI with Michigan but still have to work to do on his test score. Sam also repeated what he's been saying for awhile--that if Rawls doesn't qualify, Michigan should do everything they can to get him into prep school for a year.

Also said Michigan has a good shot at Sherron Dorsey-Walker for 2012 on the basketball side.

Podcast is now up and can be found here.

This thread should have really just been a direct question to BKfinest.  Where is he when we most need him, at times like these?

We need a BKfinest bat signal to go along with our TomVH bat signal.

The guy got to know Bryant by selling him on Michigan. He can't turn around now and bash U of M without looking like a snake. Not that I'm implying he would try to use negative tactics to recruit the kid. The only big question seemed to be whether Hoke and our new coaches could create a relationship with Bryant like Magee presumably had, and TomVH's interview seemed to assure us that is the case. Let's hope it works out.
