I saw him play at Brother Rice and I think he's going to be a sleeper candidate at WR. He's my candidate to become the Mike Hart of this class. Just my opinion.
So he is going to break the freshman receiving record?
Please go through your superguide and tell us who currently holds that record.

that one is actually pretty tough. First thought I would say Braylon Edwards, but he had 3 catches his freshman year, but his sophomore, junior and senior year were all in the top ten of all time....
WD will need to confirm this one.
And, you havent seen the supergude... there is no going through the superguide to find this information out... its in a seperate section.
Anthony Carter, 462 yards in 1979.
But faster and with a perfect baritone singing voice.

I disagree, whole-heartedly. Karan is a redshirt candidate, for sure.

see post #13. it is happening. Denard got playing time his freshman year as a change of pace QB. This is similar.
He is going to come in at the goal line and throw a Tebow-style jump pass to AJ Williams

Magnus seems pretty firm that Gentry is playing this year.
He looks physically ready to play as a true freshman.
At 6-7, Gentry is tied for the tallest on the team with Logan Tuley-Tillman, Ian Bunting and Grant Newsome.
The more you know. ((Swoooosh))

He showed up in great shape and has the size and speed to play early.
He mentioned it at the coaches luncheon yesterday.
I'll say the Gentry packages start next year, when he rotates with O'Korn.
In '15 we see:
Shelton, B. Cole, Higdon, Tyree, Wheatley (on O & D in various sets), Malzone in spot duty (no reason not to as he'll be passed up by all those QBs mentioned already by '16, get him some reps to prepare for attrition)
Also Brian Cole, Wheatley Jr, David

Make no mistake about it. Wheatley will see the field by week 2 or 3. Andrew David will play and Grant Perry or Brian Cole (not both) will see the field. Very thin at WR/Slot position.
I guess some didn't find it funny.
