Where is Mike Cox?

Based on the praise that I had been hearing about Mike Cox durnig his redshirt year and this past summer, I expected he would be getting some PT this yr and be competing with Shaw for the starting job next yr. But I only recall him getting a carry or two so far this season, and he seems to be behind both Shaw and Vincent Smith on the depth chart. Is he just not that good, is there a health issue, is he not college ready? Has anyone heard anything about this kid recently?

But seriously, played briefly early. Likely more a next year opportunity to break out in the Minor role. Though I hope we get the chance to see him this weekend. We need to blow em out. Go Blue!

I knew a kid named Mike Hunt. He moved to our school district in 7th grade. At one point he was called down to the office over the intercom as will Mike Hunt please report to the office. The secretary quickly realized her mistake and from that point on it was always Michael Hunt to the office. Poor kid. He was also voted best name for his senior class but his parents called in and had him removed from the award.

How many running backs do you all want to see get regular carries? Brown and Minor are the co-starters. Shaw is the most experienced backup. Everyone wants to see what Vincent Smith can do. Meanwhile, Cox got a couple carries against EMU. Why are people begging for carries for the 5th string running back? I don't see anyone begging to see Bryant Nowicki play tackle or Jack Kennedy to play QB or Dominique Ware to play DT (not seriously, anyway). Cox might turn out to be pretty good. But he's not playing because he's not better than the other guys.

Does Cox have the size to be a possible FB in the future? M has a nice stable of young RB's with more coming in. Just wondering if he is big enough to be a good FB.

Don't worry. When Mike Cox is in the backfield, he looks to penetrate any opening he can find. Thank you, Walter Payton on Church Chat. And my God, honestly, we have Carlos Brown and Brandon Minor splitting reps at one and you're worried about Mike Cox getting carries? Find something else to worry about.
