Where is Herm?

Submitted by Canadian on
I just came to the realization I haven't seen a post from the "old" man in a while. Did he get banned and I missed it? Or has he been in hibernation?

Yes indeed. Herm was banned somewhere around the Akron game, as I recall. He also had become combative to the point of getting personally insulting to other bloggers, even telling a few to do things which are quite impossible physically (I'll be polite here). It was time at that point.

Why would I have been banned? Social experiments on online forums are a lot easier than gathering willing groups of participants in the real world. This is as good of a place as any for that sort of thing especially with the high rate of college grads. Btw, even though I barely come here anymore I appreciate you always sticking to what you believe no matter how many detractors you have. That spine of yours is very strong.

I was just thinking about this the other day- Who's tagline will I read now when I want to call Dave Brandon and stop the uniform changes but don't have his number!?!

I always thought it was fishy for him to post his content followed by the redundant "~Herm" ... as if we couldn't read his username to know who it was

Sources say that he just resigned as the Texas football coach and no longer has to find things to kill time when "the man" makes him stay at work all day.  Hello retirement.

Chopblock = Herm

Herm = Chopblock

After he got outed he stopped posting under the Herm moniker altogether and dialed way down using Chopblock. My guess is there's a third or even a fourth user name he's using now.

For me anyways I didn't like the Herm persona much cause it seemed SO over-the-top but I liked Chopblock a lot.
