Where can I listen to UM Baseball online? (Specific)

Submitted by MGoPietrowski on

Well, Spring is rolling in early around my parts, and with it has come baseball. I love baseball for so many reasons, but one of my favorites has to be those Tiger day games that help kill off a good three hour chunk of my day at the office.

As many of you know, Michigan is taking on Iona today in baseball. I know that there are Iphone apps and what not, but as far as an internet radio station, where can i hear the game? Is there such a place? Do i just need to plug my phone into my comp speakers and use the MGOBLUE2GO App?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. And Go Blue!

This is Michigan

Your best bet for a radio broadcast is to usually visit the athletic site of the team that they are playing if that game is on the road. They will either have a radio broadcast or a GameCast or both. Most will just have a GameCast which Michigan usually has anyways on their own site.

Since they are at a neutral site this week at the Mets spring Training camp in Port St. Lucie you will probably only be able to get a GameCast.

Follow them on twitter or keep up with Gametracker for the game right now. Michigan leads iona 2-0.

I get the twitter updates sent to my phone so I can follow every baseball and softball game that aren't televised.

team got a win of 9-6 today to start off the 4 game series. Sinnery pitch a second straight gem as our team ace this year. But for the second time this year he gets a no- decision cause the bullpen blew another multi run lead late.  Will Drake led the team with 3 rbi's, followed by O'neill, and Winger with 2 each. Just a few stats from the game versus Iona for anyone who follows the baseball team.

Mich will be playing in a tourney the weekend of March 9-11 at LSU.  Being in Pensacola, FL that's only about a 4 hr drive.  Does anyone know how tix could be bought?  Can I purchase through UM or will I have to go through LSU?  I'm wanting to go Sat. the 10th, they're playing a double header against Notre Dame at 1 then LSU at 6:30 cst.  I figrure my brother, son, and I will be the only UM fans there.
