The final BCS standings came out in December. The purpose of these standings is to set up the 1-2 matchup, and they determine whether or not a team is eligible for a BCS bowl. Post-bowl standings are not released.

The reason a lot of us like the board is there is a higher bar present for posting. Some of us  self police the board.

Whether or not we go the extra mile when it comes to the self policing is variable.

there is no higher standard here. people make totally unfounded statements all the time that go unchecked as long as they are pro-Blue. people talking about how Shane morris deserved to be #1 in 247 is a prime example.

have you watched all of this Olsen kid's games? has anyone here? hoping he is (which I do, as a former catholic leaguer) is one thing, but I don't think many here are qualified to make such a statement. that was my point; a lot of uninformed opinions are allowed passes as long as they are pro-M. the fact that you call me a troll is a perfect example, just because I hope for more objectivity.

Whether or not Shane is the #1 QB is purely a matter of opinion.  Generally poeple's opinions are accepted, as long as they aren't too ridiculous or offensive.

However, creating thread to ask a question that can easily be googled is something that's generally not accepted, as it just clutters the board.  He wasn't asking for insight, or inside info, or for anyone's take on a situation.  He asked a question that anyone can google, and that's both lazy and disrespectful.
