When is Dantonio's press conference?
I only care about Iowa o'clock
For the last time, MSU won because they played better than UM, not because Rucker was out there. Let's focus on Iowa.
I have a feeling that won't really be the last time someone has to say that this week.
No idea, but come back and let us know if anyone actually calls him out on anything.
Remove Rucker and we still lost. It sucks, but let's move on.
Their press corps is all about the slurp.
Kinda like Matt MIllen.
Lord that broadcast was unseemly.....
...says it all when this is what you are reduced to obsessing over.
Last time I checked, nobody was asking me to do any blocking or tackling. I sure hope our guys do a good job, and play better in the future than in the one game versus MSU. But whether they do or not won't depend on me, although the Athletic Department probably appreciates my financial support just as they appreciate everybody's financial support.
This is a blog; not a team meeting. There's one function that blogs can serve very well, and that's to serve as a check on an abusive press corps and a kick in the pants for a lazy press corps.
If -- and I really don't know the details, yet -- Chris L. Rucker's "transgression" occurred before the Michigan game but Dantonio conveniently determined the punishment on Sunday morning, then that's a story. It may be that Dantonio has an explanation. Nobody will know, for sure, unless it gets asked.
If, based on solid and relevant information, published in an accurate context, I can help kick Dantonio's repsectability in the nuts, I'd be happy to do so. If there's no story (if Rucker did something Saturday night and within hours, Dantonio had determined to suspend him -- a pretty weird scenario if you ask me), then I won't "obsess" over anything. I'm not "obsessing" over this. I just asked the question when his presser was; I'd like to see how it plays out.
And no, I don't care about Chris L. Rucker or what happens to him. He can play next week, for all I care. He can go the NFL, or to the Muskegon Correctional Center. He can drive a cab, or become a graduate assistant. I don't care.
I just want to know if Dantonio is timing player suspensions around his game against Michigan.
Shocker, your conspiracy theory was wrong.
Let's move on to Iowa.

That was a "conspiracy theory"?
You call the simple explanation "weird" and choose to believe in a secret cover-up by a rival to beat your team.
You display irrational hatred towards me for pointing this out logically. I'd rather worry about my team than obsessing over a non-rival.
He's not stupid. He'll probably just grumble about it being an internal issue and end of story...unless there's a police report to contradict him.
Halloween is nearly upon us.
Especially their player problems. It makes us sound like we care too much about them.
