What you drinking tonight? Did it change after the end of the hockey game tonight? It did for me, coke to jack and coke.

I finished off the Killians in my fridge and tapped into a Goose Island sampler box. Have you ever had Goose Island's Oatmeal Stout? It knocked my socks off. It was as good as the Guinness that I drank at the Brewery in Dublin, and definitely better than the Guinness that can be acquired here.

3 shots vodka, 3 shots Lemonade. Shaken with ice, split between the wife and I. This is done two times. While we watch Hoarders. Soon, we will watch L.A. Gang Wars documentary on NatGeo. Daughters are sleeping... time to drink and learn. It's Friday... EDIT: Found a Bell's Amber Ale in the fridge

#9...not quite pale ale. It pretty much makes everything better. Except the MSU/UM b-ball game I didnt know how to feel. Be pissed because we lost or be we only lost by one point to the number 5 team in the country. Fucking twilight zone.

Only one person is ever documented drinking the purple stuff. He was a little fat kid with glasses wearing a "No Fear" shirt. All of the more athletic kids got in front of him a drank the entire bottle of Sunny D. He was left with the purple stuff. He drank some... and was never seen again.

I have some 7th circuit insight for you... but I will only share it if you start drinking. Legal research is boring... and not hard... you NEED to drink while doing it. Just open one up... just one. then two...

started with fat tire amber (not as good as bell's amber, duh), but i'm in new mexico, so i gotta work with what i got. ended up switching to bud for economic purposes. 18 people got laid off from our company today and it didn't include me - i was expecting it because i'm pretty much expendable - so i'm celebrating instead of drowning my sorrows. either way, i'm drinking the above

If you know about Bell's i am assuming you drink at least some micros. Are there any good local micros in New Mexico, or is it mostly domestics and imports? I will drink with you to that, congrats on still having job (if this sounds dickish i don't mean it at all).

not a lot of great local micros, though Sierra Blanca Brewing Co. makes a pretty good one called Alien Amber Ale. however, i'm staying in Alamogordo so the selection isn't gonna be as good as what you could probably find in Albuquerque. otherwise, some grocery stores have a good number of micros from around the western US; my personal favorites are from Big Sky Brewing - Moosedrool, Scapegoat, etc. if you're just looking for local, i'm recommending Alien Amber.

A bell's winter ale to go along with some case law reading myself... I figure some beer might help me stretch the law to my fact pattern.
