What song best captures your feelings about the direction of the program?

For me it's "New Dawn Fades" by Joy Division.

A change of speed, a change of style.
A change of scene, with no regrets,
A chance to watch, admire the distance,
Still occupied, though you forget.
Different colours, different shades,
Over each mistakes were made.
I took the blame.
Directionless so plain to see,
A loaded gun won't set you free.
So you say.
We'll share a drink and step outside,
An angry voice and one who cried,
'We'll give you everything and more,
The strain's too much, can't take much more.'
I've walked on water, run through fire,
Can't seem to feel it anymore.
It was me, waiting for me,
Hoping for something more,
Me, seeing me this time,
Hoping for something else.

Slayer

Pessimist, Terrorist targeting the next mark
Global chaos feeding on hysteria
Cut throat, slit your wrist, shoot you in the back fair game
Drug abuse, self abuse searching for the next high
Sounds a lot like hell is spreading all the time
I'm waiting for the day the whole world fucking dies

Walk with me in hell - Lamb of God Pray for blood Pray for the cleansing Pray for the flood Pray for end of this nightmare This lie of a life can as quickly as it came dissolve We seek only reprieve And welcome the darkness The myth of a meaning, so lost and forgotten Take hold of my hand For you are no longer alone Walk with me in hell Pray for solace Pray for resolve Pray for a savior Pray for deliverance Some kind of purpose, a glimpse of a light in this void of existence Oh... Now witness the end of an age Hope dies in hands of believers Who seek the truth in the liar's eyes

Two songs by Rob Baird.

The first is "Don't Cry For Me". More on the nose with its lyrics.

The other is "Crash Hard". The lyrics don't match up well, but the mood man, the mood.

I am not able to post or vote via Ipad but I can with my laptop.  The Ipad used to work fine until the Utah game.  I did not throw it, I swear.  Has anyone run into this and found a fix?   Songs..Twisted Sister: We're not gonna take it.

for about the same time period.  I emailed Brian on Saturday about the issue, but have not heard anything back.  Sorry for your trouble, but I am glad that it isn't just me.  It was so much easier with my Ipad instead of my lap top.

On the other had, it has kept me away from most of the tire fire that has been going on around here.

You act like you were just born tonight
Face down in a memory but feeling all right
So who does your past belong to today?
Baby, you don't say nothing when you're feeling this way

The girls in the bars thinking, who is this guy?
But they don't think nothing when they're telling you lies
You look so careless when they're shooting that bull
Don't you know heartaches are heroes when their pockets are full

Tell me you're trying to cure a seven-year ache
See what else your old heart can take
The boys say, when is he gonna give us some room
The girls say, god I hope he comes back soon

Everybody's talking but you don't hear a thing
You're still uptown on your downhill swing
Boulevard's empty, why don't you come around?
Baby, what is so great about sleeping downtown?

Splitting your dice to be someone you're not
You say you're looking for something you might've forgot
Don't bother calling to say you're leaving alone
Cause there's a fool on every corner when you're trying to get home

Just tell 'em you're trying to cure a seven-year ache
See what else your old heart can take
The boys say, when is he gonna give us some room
The girls say, god I hope he comes back soon

Tell me you're trying to cure a seven-year ache
See what else your old heart can take
The boys say, when is he gonna give us some room
The girls say, god I hope he comes back soo

(strangely this popped up on iTunes shuffle as I type this)

The walls are built up, stone by stone;
the fields divided one by one.
And the train conductor says,
"Take a break Driver 8, Driver 8 take a break
we've been on this shift too long"

And the train conductor says,
"Take a break Driver 8, Driver 8 take a break
We can reach our destination, but we're still a ways away"
I saw a treehouse on the outskirts of the farm.
The power lines have floaters so the airplanes won't get snagged.
Bells are ringing through the town again,
Children look up, all they hear is sky-blue, bells ringing

And the train conductor says
"Take a break Driver 8, Driver 8 take a break
We can reach our destination, but we're still a ways away"

Way to shield the hated heat.
Way to put myself to sleep.
Way to shield the hated heat.
Way to put myself, my children to sleep.

He piloted this song in a plane like that one.
She is selling faith on the Go Tell crusade.
Locomotive 8, Southern Crescent, hear the bells ring again.
Field to weed is lookin' thin

And the train conductor says
"Take a break Driver 8, Driver 8 take a break
We've been on this shift too long."
And the train conductor says,
"Take a break Driver 8, Driver 8 take a break.
We can reach our destination, but we're still a ways away"

"But there's a danger in loving somebody too much, "and it's sad when you know it's your heart you can't trust. "There's a reason why people don't stay where they are. "Baby, sometimes love just ain't enough."

I was listening to the radio and the song "The Right Direction" by The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus was on... specifically was just hearing the lyrics "You better get headed in the right direction."

I'd say that applies.

Can't remember the entire song, but we liked it in the early 70s.

The first couple of stanzas were like: You're breaking my heart, You're tearing me apart so Fuck You... Oh boog a loo, do do do, it's true........... Can be found on youtube if you need a laugh.

Motörhead

"Emergency"

[McAuliffe, Johnson, Wiliams, Dufort]
[Motor Music Ltd.]

Gotta make out things they said
Spent too many nights getting out of my head
They must be mad, must be blind
Driving me crazy right out of my mind

Nine Nine Nine Emergency (Emergency)
Nine Nine Nine Emergency (Emergency)
Nine Nine Nine Emergency (Emergency)
Nine Nine Nine Emergency
Oh No!
Nine Nine Nine Emergency (Emergency)
Nine Nine Nine Emergency (Emergency)
Nine Nine Nine Emergency (Emergency)
Nine Nine Nine Emergency Emergency Emergency

Can't seem to think, can't decide
Times running out on the other side
Where to run, what to do
Better not hide so I can't find you

Nine Nine Nine Emergency (Emergency)
Nine Nine Nine Emergency (Emergency)
Nine Nine Nine Emergency (Emergency)
Nine Nine Nine Emergency
Oh No!
Nine Nine Nine Emergency (Emergency)
Nine Nine Nine Emergency (Emergency)
Nine Nine Nine Emergency (Emergency)
Nine Nine Nine Emergency Emergency Emergency
