What is reasonable for a State ticket?

Submitted by hackattack13 on
I am wondering how much is to much for a state ticket. I am a current student at Michigan and I am having my friends up at State look for a ticket for me in the student section. They say they cant find anything below 100$ and in my looking I cannot either. As much as I want to go to this game, I cant make myself pay more than 70$ for a ticket. Am I the only one that feels that the prices are a little crazy? I know its a rivalry game but they are 1-3.

Just head up to EL for the game and scalp a ticket a few minutes after kickoff and you'll get one for the price your looking for if not cheaper; especially being that you only need 1 ticket.

I just flipped open lansing.craigslist.com and found a couple of tickets available for under $100 and several at $70. Of course, it's Craigslist and your mileage may vary, but I've generally had good luck with ticket sales.

Student section will always be expensive. Your best bet might be to buy a cheap ticket and then try to pull some shit to sit with your friends. I don't know what kind of rules or how strict they are for having your buddy go to the student seats and come back with a few ticket stubs though. Regardless of whether they're 1-3 or 4-0 this is probably the biggest home game of their season.

You will definitely get a ticket for $70 or less. Go to craigslist, stubhub, or exchangehut and I'm sure you will find a ticket. If not, go to the game and scalp one. I'm sure it won't be a problem.

I was able to get a random ticket right before kick off for sixty. Dont know if that is good or bad, did not really try to bargain with the guy, just took the price he offerred at the time. But anyway, I was able to go and sit with my friends in the student section despite having a ticket for another section.

How much do YOU want to see your Wolverines shut up that smug a** Dumbantio? How tired are you of all the sh** you've had to put up with from Sparty fans for the last year. How bad do you want to see Vincent Smith (shorter than Mike Hart) score a TD on little brother. Ticket to Michigan vs. MSU - $70 Trip, Food, and beverages - $125 Seeing Mark Dumbantio look dumbfounded after another loss - priceless!
