well that's just, like, your opinion, man
What? No Saturday night drinking thread?
Watching Duke vs Cuse. I wish Crisler had that kind of atmosphere.
Then GnT's. I am getting my belly primed for the early morning beers that are to guzzled. Go blue!
Went with old reliable, Captain and Coke!
monte carlo tonight at k college. Fun night ahead for me
Sam Adams infinium.
Officially my favorite regular IPA, dropping the delicious Dogfish 60 down a spot.
Bed, Bath and Beyond tomorrow?
No brews. But at the Toledo walleye game.
I need to hit a walleye game up!
Wife had me run in to get carry out. Jokes on her. Newcastle at the bar while I wait on her food.
Started with Founder's All Day IPA. Now, I'm into Rochester Mills' Milkshake Stout.
It's spelled S-T-A-E-E
Full Tilt Berger Chocolate Stout
Gonna pour myself a Trader Joe's scotch here soon. It's not very good, but it fits the budget. Then off to a dive bar to drink far more than I probably should.
Love me a good dive bar.
Fuck Dook. Fuck 'Cuse. Fuck Sparty.
I'm saving mine for breakfast tomorrow, while I watch the gold medal game.
Oh is there a hockey game in the morning???? Fucking right buddy
Short's Mystery Stout
The wife likes Sierra Nevada's Kellerweis Hefeweizen, so that's what I'm drinking.
We've been drinking since 10 pst. Started at hall, and the day has been downhill since the Kathryn hall cab. Then to the taco truck in Yountville. Tried the reds there, was disappointed by the increase in price since the last visit. Stopped by v sattui and bought a few bottles for tonight, with one last stop at van Der Heyden before heading back here to the condo.
It was harder with the twins, but they were mostly well received..
Boehheim went bananas in the big game on a shit call with 10 seconds left. Can't wait to hear his post-game. Jay Bilas is acting like an ass in my opinion, too.
Not a shit call. Hood was there and set.
Drinking some Dales Pale Ale
Jay Bilas sounded like a huge douche at the end of the game.
Right. As if it's so not human nature to react the way Boeheim did. Beilein would've done the same thing I'm thinking and we know how even keel he is.
Brugal 1888, New Belgium Trippel, and Guinness Black :)
How is it? I haven't tried it yet.
It's good, it's got a cleaner finish than their regular stout. I suspect it's just a re-release of the special anniversary beer they put out just before it. I really like a dark porter or stout like that in this cold weather.
and watching Josh Smith torch the Mavs.
Cherry Limeade and Into the universe with Stephen Hawking.
Hoping to get some Bell's Blacknote tonight! A bar down here has been doing a Bell's Olympics with 24 different Bells tapped.
when you go to break the seal you'll get locked in.
Good, but seemed like the bitterness lingered a bit too long for my tastes.
$1 Margaritas at On the Border.
Yuengling black & tan's.
I was drinking a Dirty Bastard and a friend introduced me to one of those. Not too shabby.
Fiancé is at her bridal shower across the country so I'm drinking a 12er of Shock Top and playing FIFA.
ESB at the bar before going to the Badger Sparty game in Madison. Now its home with Goose Island Matilda and ths Denver Colorado College game. Love me some college hockey.
got me some of Vivant's plow horse and damn if it's not living up to it's name. Sure, I don't drink like I used to, but 1 pint and the room is already spinning.
To celebrate a solid hockey win, I am going with Guinness tonight.
Guiness is relatively low in calories. I hope you're drinking it from a tap with someone who knows how to pour it. I had an old irish landlord who occassionally would get bored and take us drinking. One night he dressed down (relatively gently) the bartender who poured his Guiness rather poorly.
pics of bartender getting dressed down?
Firemans Brew from LA has 3 good beers. I liked the Brunette and Redhead! http://www.firemansbrew.com/off-duty-drinks
Saw someone in the Salt Lake City airport today and got a go blue! I wasn't able to say it back as I was on the phone but if that was you, go blue always!!
Think I might dig out a Hopslam to cap the day. Had some great beers. Liked Greenflash LeFreak. Brooklyn Monster Ale was very tasty. North Coast Brewing Le Merle farmhouse ale was a great find. Lagunitas Hairy Eyeball Ale was really good and, a total oddball change of pace beer, Kona Brewing Koko Brown. Firestone Walker Brewing wookey jack was excellent. So many beers, such a good time standing around in the cold drinking them with friends.
Red Stag and Busch Light
Just moved out of state for first time and had no idea how good we had it in Michigan craft-beer-wise until it was gone.
Damn border guards pulled me in to pay duty on my beer purchase today....
