What is the key to beating Ohio State? ALSO Do you think RR can reverse the trend? Why or why not?

For us to win this year will take a little bit of luck, a continually improving offense, and a solid defensive game-plan. We're still not up to their level in terms of overall developed talent, but we're getting closer.

play solid defense and force turnovers. It would help to have someone, anyone smoke Pryor a couple times. And don't give up the backbreaking big t.d. run. That's a start.

1. Do not give up big plays 2. Put 6 on the board through special teams (i.e. Woodson & Desmond) 3. Win the battle of field position 4. Control the clock. 5. Minimize turnovers 6. Have more points at the end of the game

Seriously, the biggest thing is to focus, but not to be too concerned/cautious. Go out there and treat them like any other team. I remember a big hoopla when RR said something to the tune of "I view OSU like any other team... I want to beat them" But I agree 100% with him. Yes, that is the ultimate rival, but you can't get too caught up in it. Forget the last 6 or so years, they're beatable.

The key to beating OSU is to infiltrate Tressel's house and steal all his Sweater vests. They are the key to his power and without them he is powerless against the Block M. Also, he would drown his sorrows in wine coolers and end up hitting a player and being dismissed.

i think the key is to recruit the hell out of OL and DL. i sound like a broken record of course, everybody says that. but if there is one huge talent gap between us and OSU to me, it is at the LOS. their depth, talent, and size has worn on UM's lack of these past few years.

That, and their back 7 seems to be able to have guys step in from their first start as a collegian and not run around like their heads have been cut off. We have multi-year starters who still play clueless. Granted, some/a lot of that can be attributed to changing coordinators every damn year while OSU has had consistency in coaching, so it would help if we won enough games this year for all the coaches to keep their jobs.

We have to play some defense and shut down their run. Our run defense the last six games against Ohio State has been abysmal and they have outrushed us in every game since 2004.

Physically beat an interior blocker and drag the ball-carrier down in the backfield on first down. This ends most Ohio State drives before they start.
