What the hell has happened?

There was a time when we could look at a schedule for football and circle the last game as the game to win. Now, I look at the schedule and wonder if we can even go 6-6. I have read several forums where people are excited about a 7 win season. 7 wins? Is that what we have been reduced to is hoping to end up one game above 500 and going off to some shitty bowl game. I thought we used to strive and more importantly compete for championships. Bo would be rolling over in his grave if he read that a 7-5 season is a success. I think it is really time to raise the bar. A 10-2 season would be okay, only if the two losses were to Indiana and UConn. I don't want to lose to Penn State again, Illinois again, Purdue again, Michigan friggin State again, and I sure as hell don't want to lose to OSU. And as far as basketball and hockey go, don't get me started. We are Michigan for god sakes. Start playing like it.

"I want a hamburger. No, cheeseburger. I want a hot dog. I want a milkshake. I want potato chips..." "You'll get nothing, and like it!"

"WE'RE MICHIGAN! WE DESERVE TO WIN ALL OUR GAMES! IT'S OUR BIRTH-RIGHT!" For God's sake, take your losing like a man. Did you choose to be a Michigan fan so you wouldn't have to deal with losing? The "Leaders and Best," to me, means more than just winning all the time. It also means how to have grace, integrity, and poise in the face of adversity. This is how we will distinguish ourselves, not by crying that every one of our coaches needs to win 90%+ of his/her games or be fired. Might I suggest the following:

Moosehead rant eh. So the people north of us were trying to come up with a name for their country and they started throwing out some possible letters. It played out something like this: C eh N eh D eh And thus the name Canada was born :)
