What happened to Robin Benzing
I was going through Michigan's Basketball recruiting classes and I noticed a name Robin Benzing. I have no idea who he is, just that he commited to Michigan in the class of 08. He would be a 6-10 Soph PF right now. I would love to have a big coming off the bench right now. So what happened to him?

He couldn't get eligible because he played semi-pro ball in Germany.

Interesting. A German guy who played ball for Iowa State this year up and left his team Tuesday because he was offered a lucrative German deal. His teammates are complaining about "team" and "loyalty."
I would submit that if most of them had no NBA potential and a six-figure contract available in their home country, they would follow the EUROS as well.

Not to mention that in Europe, the notion of keeping your amateur status until age 20-22 is unheard of. Most European athletes turn pro around age 16, or even earlier.

Averaging 12 pts, 2 rebs per game playing 6th man on a losing team; also has been mentioned as outside draft possibilty for an international player; hitting 31% of 3's at 6'11, not bad
