I believe the gum from last year was tossed with such velocity and anger it is forever embedded 2 feet deep on the field at teh Big House.

And my friend next to me swears that he saw Lynch throw his gum after the Denard game-winning TD. Regardless, we brought some Big Red gum into the stadium (because IU calls themselves Big Red...apparently) and we chewed it all game then threw it after we won, in honor of Lynch, King of Gum Throwers!
