But Vlad seems to think highly of him

if you can't find PT on the field, at least he's finding success off it.

Always been a bit of a man without a position. Not big enough to play DT (where he was first projected out of HS) and not fast enough to star at DE (note: he will likely see playing time there this year but is a bit of an unknown). It didn't help him much that he was stuck behind Brandon Graham. Kid always busted his butt while he was here though, hopefully he makes that jump and becomes a good player for us.

We need everyone to do well next season.

Sorry.

Sorry. Triple Post.
I'd fit in very well with John Bielien's Offense

Pretty fucking gritty triple post if you ask me.

not taking anything away from Van Bergen, but i was surprised to see him start over Patterson last year. Patterson looked like the incredible hulk coming out of HS

Yes, but about halfway through the season, Van Bergen became a one man wrecking crew.

AP has been one of the biggest disappointments. He was a top 100 player, if I remember correctly. And I don't care if he is out of position...you find a position if you are good enough. Frankly, he hasn't been impressive when I have seen him on the field. We will see if he can contribute in his final season.

But he totally kicks ass in NCAA!
I'm not even joking, dude won the Lombardi like twice. Weird.

and not quitting or transferring because of limited PT. Being a stud coming out of high school and not seeing the field much after 3-4 years can potentially turn Prima donnas into transfers. This does not seem to be the case with AP. Those who stay....
EDIT: I am not saying that he is or ever was a Prima donna. Which is the point. Some could read this as me calling him that. Not the case.

So, because he stayed and will be a senior next year, we have to win the Big 10? I like it!

For the sake of what's left of my sanity, and also for the items in my man-cave that I do not want broken, they need to make that big jump next year.
