It's a system Brian uses to break down each game into invidividual performances. You will come to love them. You can use the site search to look at older ones to clear it up.

What does a "DO" by a play mean in the UFR? I've read enough to know its a very good thing but I don't know what it stands for.
It means the pass thrown was "Dead On"

but other letters put together to mean something. i know IMO, FWIW, etc. but there are some that i dont know where they are inside jokes or pertinent to the blog posting. is there a run down on some of the letter initialing?

I could be wrong but I don't think there is a list anywhere of commonly used abbreviations used on this site. Are there any in particular that you need help with? If you post them I will try to help you as best I can.
