this week in unintentionally grim-sounding recruiting headlines
What could have been
Mone is gonna be a STAR. Our DL has sorely missed a stud like h
All bad stuff related to Michigan football ended yesterday. sorry.
Focus on Mone, I hope the guy is a stud. Hopefully from day one he is that double team that our defense so sorely needs, it would help taco on the end. Future could be good.
Let it go
the gas comes from a solid or liquid under standard type conditions. Not that there isn't steam, and it is dispersed over the whole volume, but I'd think that gaseous would be more appropriate given the minimal amount of steam compared to how much air is in the cup. There's likely going to be maximum one steam molecule for every 30 nitrogen or oxygen molecules.
This is a great photo. Both are great kids.
Hand committed to Bama. Oh well. We'll get over it. Moving on.
Great photo. Hoepfully Mone can contribute right away. Seems like a great kid.
The engineer sees the glass as twice the necessary size. I know, shouldn't have mentioned engineering and Hand in the same thread. So 2013.
Mone = beast.
The police officer who had to work until 5 a.m. last night is just hallucinating at this point...GO 2014!
Mone is going to be a beast.
At least one of them is coming to UM. Take that as a victory.
Fully half of Michigan's 16 commitments for 2014 are playing in (or were invited but will miss with injury) the two biggest All-American games. That's pretty darn good.
I am with you 100%. It's a pretty good class even without Hand. I appreciate the class coming in, looks to be loaded with difference makers.
The roster is already fairly solid with the last 2 classes, but we really need a 4-5 guys who create big plays and match-up problems.
Peppers, Harris, Mone seem talented enough to become such playmakers.
Hand will realize he can make 10^3 times more money as an NFL player than an engineer. (paragraph) Mone looks like a large human even compared to Hand.
I think he did, which is why he chose Bama (unless that was sarcasm).
Hand has looked amazing in those practices tho. Good lord we could've used him.
On the positive side, from all reports Malik McDowell has looked like one of, if not the most dominant player at the entire Army game. Hopefully Michigan can pull a late get.
Still a solid class regardless.
I'm at the point where we need to look at what we have rather than what could have been. I'm really happy that we have Mone and Peppers coming next year along with the rest of the class. There are some great building blocks coming in. Get it done!
Sweet kicks -
The ultimate warrior
I like to listen to this every time a recruit chooses a different school, so I am pretty sure I'm responsible for a couple thousand of those views.
for serious realz?
According to analysts JBB held his own against Hand in one on ones so that's an encouraging bit of info on one of the less heralded recruits in this class.
Look at the freaking size of Mone's calves
One thing he wrote was how the staff spent as much time with guys already committed as they did with the uncommitted visitors. He said he saw Hoke take Mone and his family into his office for around 30-40 minutes. Then seeing the pictures of Hoke having dinner with the Mones' at their house makes me think Mone was more important in Hoke's mind than Hand. I can't wait to have another Mike Martin on the dline. Maybe even better!
It would have been nice if the Wolverines could have gotten both. One is still pretty good though and I am sure Mone will be good. Brady Hoke is a line coach first after all. Luckily, Michigan has some depth at the defensive end position. I am sure they will coach up some of the defensive ends that have. Taco could be a good one with his athleticism.
