What is considered an acceptable post topic?
This morning I posted an open question on why DB had not yet given RR a contract extension yet. I didn't use any of the famed banned terms, didn't swear and I think used reasonably correct grammer and punctuation. The topic had a lot of interest based upon the number of responses and the posts were seemingly all well thought out and expressed a variety of different viewpoints on the question. In short, it was exactly why I posted it in the first place - to get the thoughts of my fellow bloggers and hear their opinions on my "why" question.
And then it was pulled down by the Mods. Why? What protocol did it violate? I really want to know because for the life of me it seemed a whole lot more relevant to me than a lot of the stuff that's allowed to stay up on the board.

this is an acceptable topic for me. The "why did my post get taken down" thread is always one of my favorites.

The thread I made about Cal faking injuries was pulled too. It seemed relevant to me since we run the same offense and teams could potentially do that to us - but... whatever.

This is the one that I don't understand why it was pulled either. Then, when someone clearly relates it to Michigan, that gets pulled as well.

It was pulled because it wasn't "Thread-worthy". Or to translate, " I don't like to be shown up when I delete threads so I will delete yours as well".

Don't take this personal. I've had my fair share of comments/threads nuked myself.
In the shower, you have to do a lot of scrubbing to get all the dead skins cells off. Mgoboard gets a lot of scrubbing and a lot of people end up wondering why so much scrubbing or get butthurt about it when their threads spiral down the drain. But in the end, the content on mgoboard is top notch. There are always judgment calls about threads, some are clearly dead skin cells and some times good topics are removed with the trash by mistake. But all in all, I think the mods do a great job keep the board healthy and full of good content.

I'm just confused as hell over what is acceptable and what is not. According to JoeyB I'm not allowed to post anything that questions an official statement DB has made. According YakAttack I should follow the FAQs of which i violated none of with my post. And according to a lot of people I shouldn't ask why it happened at all.
I was simply trying to understand what rule I violated that got the post pulled. So far I can find none so I'm trying to see if their is some other reason it was taken down. If that offends then I'm sorry.
