It is the night before UConn and the rededication of the Big House. What are you ladies drinking right now?
I just cracked open some Bell's Octoberfest.
Miller Lite bottles... poured in a pint glass.
Will move to Jack and Coke Zero a little later
Holding on to summer, but welcoming fall.
Ice cold Coors Light deep in the heart of Texas. Stressed about the game tomorrow and laughing at this commercial wondering why Ric Flair doesn't walk around the corner after the sweet Wooooo. http://www.youtube.com/user/gillette
and then once I drive four hours to the game, will have Bloody Mary's and beer chaser's. What time do they allow people to start arriving on the Golf Course and/or Pioneer parking for a 3:30 game?
I don't want to seem like a pussy, but I have to wake up at 7AM tomorrow and get really REALLY fuckhoused until 3:30PM. I told myself I wouldn't drink tonight.
If it makes ya feel less like a pussy, i'm just drinking water. Lots of work tonight and early morning tomorrow.
Mt. Dew, on the rocks.
Saving the liver abuse for tomorrow and loading up on the sugar abuse tonight.
There is nothing un-manly about not drinking alcohol. I'm drinking cheap iced coffee made using my special method - brew a pot and pour it over ice. Manly men take care of their responsibilities, alcohol or no. Here's to you.
You are wrong.
Tasty cherry ale.
Because wine coolers weren't feminine enough.
and even better with Jack
Isn't that where Dee Hart goes to High School? That's how I always remember it, anyway.
With some Leiny's Summer Shandy waiting in the wings.
Coffee. But that's just to get me out the door to the bar.
Plantation Mint Tea.
Drinking some Oberon in AZ. AZ & MI are the only states that sell Oberon year round.
Feeling nervous, anxious, confident, and excited all at once for this game. Here's to a great season boys!!!
the dinner, a gin and tonic WITH dinner, and now--green tea to sober me enough to paint the living room ceiling.
Just scooped up some Fat Tire.
the hell is Fat Tire?
It's BEER, man. What the heck else would it be?
...Very much enjoying being back in Michigan. This is the first night I'm staying in since getting here last week, gotta wake up early to make waffles, canadian orange juice and classy glacier gatorade.
... of Kool-Aid. I see Michigan winning by 10.....*sip*.... no, by 14.......*sip*......
(Actually Miller Lite... no worries about tailgating tomorrow.... I can't get too hammered before the game because I like to actually watch the game closely....)
I'm drinking NyQuil and Pepto Bismol, like a real man before game day...
I'm drinking a new beer from Arcadia brewing Co, that may or may not be realesed to the public. I love being thier guinee pig!!!
Glass of pinot noir with dinner and now some Goose Island Honker's Ale. Gotta take it easy tonight...tomorrow is the big day.
The Galt Knife was supposed to be a pre-Prohibition lager and was definitely the better of the two. The Boris was boring.
Natty Light. Will move on to whatever my neighbors are drinking, with a potential for $8/fifth vodka or $11/fifth super schnapps later.
And then probably a low-grade merlot that I need to get rid of
Miles Raymond: No, if anyone orders Merlot, I'm leaving. I am NOT drinking any fucking Merlot!
Bombay Sapphire and Sprite is my new drink of choice.
My drink has always been Tanqueray + Sierra Mist Free.
Glass of Syrah with dinner. Goose Island Urban Wheat to start the Toledo game. And now I've been inventing shooters for some unknown reason. I'm 2 for 2 so far. Ferro Rocher Shooter: Dark Caoca liquor and hazlenut liquor and Terry's Chocolate Orange: Cointreau and Dark Caoca Liquor.
That may be enough for tonight.
Original Oak Aged and Canada Day 2009
From Blue Dawg Brewing... So is Mrs. RRF- one more bottle for her and I won't be on this site til the morning! WooooHooo!!!
Helps pass the time.
Ice Water. There is no alcohol here.
The usual. Sterno.
killing some leftover wine before something else to follow. i just moved outside the midwest for the first time (from chicago) to austin for grad school so this is my first season without going to the game or duffy's. looking forward to rocking the maize and blue at the bar amidst the sea of orange tomorrow!.
2 Anchor Steams and 4 Big Daddy IPAs in with a handle of Jameson waiting for me when I get home from work. Tomorrow can't come fast enough.
Sam Adams Octoberfest, then Founders Nemesis 2010, then Bells 25th Anniversary, then we'll see whats next.
On my third Oberon.
Ragin' Bitch Pale Ale, good stuff
