What are we drinking on tonight?
Since its been such a rough week for all things Michigan Football (except practice gate news), I think we all deserve a good drink tonight.
A toast is in order to Coach Rod some good news from the NCAA, players on the team for trying their best and representing Michigan with class. Even to us for sticking by this team no matter what the outcome may be.
My drink of choice will be Belvedere on the rocks with a splash of soda... How about you?
Go Blue!

Hitting the Canton/Plymouth playoff game, then on to Liberty Street Brewing Co.
November 5th, 2010 at 5:04 PM ^
wonder if canton will leave there starters in too long(a la the 4th q)..couple players on plymouth did not like how canton played last time. take that how you will
not sure why i got negged haha
November 5th, 2010 at 6:49 PM ^
Not likely to happen, but I hope Plymouth wins. The Canton coach strikes me as a real arse -- thinks he is a bmoc, but hasn't won the big one. Heard one of their coaches complain that because plymouth schools use a lottery to assign kids to one of the three plymouth schools, they couldn't "recruit" Stanton. Makes you wonder what else they do to win.

epic win

"Cab-in-ay."
November 5th, 2010 at 4:36 PM ^
Is it me, or are the drinking threads getting posted earlier in the afternoon as the season wears on?
November 5th, 2010 at 4:43 PM ^
I thought the same thing when I was writing this. These weeks are fucking stressful, let alone dealing with work as well.
November 5th, 2010 at 4:36 PM ^
Good ol' moonshine in hopes I go blind by high noon tomorrow.
November 6th, 2010 at 2:29 AM ^
Your avatar is great. Does such a bikini, and a woman who bought it and wore it in public, actually exist? I find the bikini being worn in public by a consumer that hot difficult to believe, unless it was at a campus party or perhaps spring break. Still, outstanding.
November 5th, 2010 at 4:53 PM ^
Well played, Mr. Sanford.
November 5th, 2010 at 9:51 PM ^
Is when I do my Fred G. Sanford impression. Mrs. Attack's name is Elizabeth, so the old "This is the big one, Elizabeth. I'm coming to join you honey" is usually met with rolled eyes. Little does she know, I actually hate her aunt Esther.

never see a bottle of that again!
November 5th, 2010 at 7:44 PM ^
I would have to say i prefer Mad Dod 20/20.
November 5th, 2010 at 4:37 PM ^
Its a warm, Friday afternoon here on the front range of Colorado. The only logical conclusion is voluminous amounts of Golden City Brewery's Evolution IPA at the beer garden. The perfect toast to a defensive evolution.

November 5th, 2010 at 4:45 PM ^
That stuff is nasty, but if you are about 6 drinks behind, it'll get you drunk quickly.
November 5th, 2010 at 4:47 PM ^
if that shit taste anything like Sparks, I don't want it!
November 5th, 2010 at 4:58 PM ^
Four Loko was started by OSU alumns. Poor choice.
November 5th, 2010 at 5:44 PM ^
No wonder it tastes so disgusting.
November 5th, 2010 at 6:59 PM ^
I left the state just in time.
November 5th, 2010 at 8:28 PM ^
but that's because I plan on selling them to freshmen with more money than brains in about a month. I don't need fruity flavors and tacky cans to take four shots, thank you very much.

i had a friend that had a ambulence ride to the hospital from being un-responsive, puking/pissed in my bed. not to mention foaming from the mouth. just 2 of those and she had alcohol poisoning with a night in detox.
secondly. . . . definitely started my day off early on pay day, a few beers at apple bees then a fifth a jager. then ended my night with my friends hard with a half gallon of 5 o'clock.

Aged Dominican Rum at 5 o'clock.
EDIT: It was delicious!
November 5th, 2010 at 4:44 PM ^
Grand Touring Vodka. Its actually quite good and cheaper than Absolut. It is a NASCAR marketed product, but pretty much all alcohol is...
November 5th, 2010 at 4:45 PM ^
Cough syrup, and cold medicine... FML...
Must get better for tomorrow, up at 7:30 to head to AA.

Oatmeal brown ale that I brewed up a few weeks ago and just put on tap. A coworker is hosting a Guy Fox bonfire tonight, so I am sure some other form of english inspired silliness will also occur.
November 5th, 2010 at 6:13 PM ^
Do you mean Guy Fawk's Day? Are you going to burn an effigy? Maybe of a football coach you dislike?

Do you mean Guy Fawk's Day? Are you going to burn an effigy? Maybe of a football coach you dislike?
November 5th, 2010 at 9:07 PM ^
Yes! As we were at the bonfire, we did burn an effigy of "the Guy". My friend explained the story behind it, the proper spelling of his name, and a few pointers on how to make a good effigy. This seems to be a very necessary skill in England. Fortunately, we did this over a few pints of bitter. I guess you could consider this a practice run. Always good to learn new things, and develop new skills. Who knows when this knowledge may come in handy! In return, he is going to come over and watch the game tomorrow. He is starting to develop a taste for college ball, even if it is not "proper football."

Bud light now - sucks, but I'm sitting at my desk. Beer o'clock in the office! So that's a plus.
Soon to be drinking delicious German beers while devouring wurst. Now we're talking.

stay thirsty my friends..
November 5th, 2010 at 4:53 PM ^
Whatever makes you numb for the next day. Something that will linger well into tomorrow.
I recommend hard liquor.
Follow up with bloody mary(s) tomorrow morning, or mimosas.
That's right I said mimosas.
November 5th, 2010 at 4:57 PM ^
This place I go to on Sunday mornings serves 25 cent mimosas all day!! Don't be ashamed, shits delicious!
November 5th, 2010 at 8:52 PM ^
Heaven? Seriously though where is this "place?"
November 5th, 2010 at 4:57 PM ^
Its Central/Western weekend here in Mount Pleasant. Having to stand outside in 30 degree weather for 4 hours necessitates many a shot after getting out of work in....T-Minus 3 minutes.
Sailor Jerry here I come!
