What are we drinking on tonight?

Submitted by Paly33 on

Since its been such a rough week for all things Michigan Football (except practice gate news), I think we all deserve a good drink tonight.

A toast is in order to Coach Rod some good news from the NCAA, players on the team for trying their best and representing Michigan with class.  Even to us for sticking by this team no matter what the outcome may be.

My drink of choice will be Belvedere on the rocks with a splash of soda...  How about you?

Not likely to happen, but I hope Plymouth wins.  The Canton coach strikes me as a real arse -- thinks he is a bmoc, but hasn't won the big one.  Heard one of their coaches complain that because plymouth schools use a lottery to assign kids to one of the three plymouth schools, they couldn't "recruit" Stanton.  Makes you wonder what else they do to win.

Your avatar is great. Does such a bikini, and a woman who bought it and wore it in public, actually exist? I find the bikini being worn in public by a consumer that hot difficult to believe, unless it was at a campus party or perhaps spring break. Still, outstanding.

Its a warm, Friday afternoon here on the front range of Colorado. The only logical conclusion is voluminous amounts of Golden City Brewery's Evolution IPA at the beer garden. The perfect toast to a defensive evolution.

i had a friend that had a ambulence ride to the hospital from being un-responsive, puking/pissed in my bed.  not to mention foaming from the mouth.  just 2 of those and she had alcohol poisoning with a night in detox.

secondly. . . . definitely started my day off early on pay day, a few beers at apple bees then a fifth a jager.  then ended my night with my friends hard with a half gallon of 5 o'clock.

Oatmeal brown ale that I brewed up a few weeks ago and just put on tap.  A coworker is hosting a Guy Fox bonfire tonight, so I am sure some other form of english inspired silliness will also occur.

Yes!  As we were at the bonfire, we did burn an effigy of "the Guy".  My friend explained the story behind it, the proper spelling of his name, and a few pointers on how to make a good effigy.  This seems to be a very necessary skill in England.  Fortunately, we did this over a few pints of bitter.  I guess you could consider this a practice run.  Always good to learn new things, and develop new skills.  Who knows when this knowledge may come in handy!  In return, he is going to come over and watch the game tomorrow.  He is starting to develop a taste for college ball, even if it is not "proper football."

Bud light now - sucks, but I'm sitting at my desk.  Beer o'clock in the office!  So that's a plus.

Soon to be drinking delicious German beers while devouring wurst.  Now we're talking.

Whatever makes you numb for the next day. Something that will linger well into tomorrow.

I recommend hard liquor.

Follow up with bloody mary(s) tomorrow morning, or mimosas.

That's right I said mimosas.

Its Central/Western weekend here in Mount Pleasant. Having to stand outside in 30 degree weather for 4 hours necessitates many a shot after getting out of work in....T-Minus 3 minutes.

Sailor Jerry here I come!
