I'm not that kind of guy but someone else may just come on here and tell you to check 9 posts down and see that "Barwis to SDSU" is on the board and within that thread is at least 3 mentions of Devin's tweet.

Whatever.  The players that are worth anything will respond.  Barwis is undoubtedly good but that doesn't mean anything unless the players are motivated to maximize their time with him. In that same vain I think Brick Mealer will be fine wherever he goes.  He's certainly shown the constitution to do so.  Besides... why is everyone sucking Barwis's dick about that?  It was Mealer who did it.  And for that I have a role model for life!

Wow, it's a trifecta.  Typos (Brock, not brick), misspellings ("vein" not "vain"), and my favorite part, the insinuation that acknowledging the fact that players will miss Barwis equals blowing him.  You clearly have nothing to add to the discourse here.  Go away

A lot of that weakness probably stems from the fact that so many underclassmen played.  I realize that the Barwis love was a little over-the-top sometimes, but you can't blame the fact that our 18 and 19 year-olds got pushed around by 20 and 21 year-olds on Barwis.

There are many strength coaches, but he was ours. The incoming strength coach will soon be the Michigan strength coach, not just any strength coach. Mike Barwis will be remembered by his associates, by his fans, and by his players. He gave to the university, as did Mike Gittleson before him.

Edit; removed "peers", what was I thinking?

Got a ton of hype and I'm wondering why.

I know the underclassmen thing hurt a bit. It's hard to turn an 18 year old kid into a holy hell terror clown by the age of 18.5.

But our upperclassment weren't that impressive--and sorry, but really, S&C guys as rock starz?

The team was bigger and stronger under Gittleson and the teams UM played looked BUFFED out while our guys looked like they were auditioning for parts in "Rent."
