My brother is a Northwestern grad, back when they were hopelessly futile. The students almost took pride in that fact. Now we are bottom-feeders. Never thought it would come to this. I've been a fan since 1974, a Michigan alum, love my school. We're now wandering in the desert, hoping to one day enter the promised land.

I have watched every Michigan game from beginning to end for the last 23 years. This is the first game I have ever turned off before it was over. After Gardner came in I did not see a team that had given up but I saw a coach who had. Fuck Hoke! Fire Hoke!

I almost wish Hoke was as blatantly douchey as Lane Kiffin, just so the inevitable midseason firing would actually feel good.

But the more I think about it, in terms of media/public relations, he is pretty douchey...

You can argue this is rock bottom because the team Michigan just lost to is so bad and no one remaining on the schedule is as bad.  But that just means that other remaining teams will likely beat Michigan by much worse margins.  I don't see how Michigan wins another game this year.  I think they could lose to the big rivals by 60.  When you're currently in free fall, it probably means you are not through falling and you will get lower still.

Don't confusing falling with dragging. Everything else I feel this season will be horizontal movements with my mouth and forehead being the only thing keeping contact with the ground.

Falling implies we still have somewhere left to decend to.

The dumb Marching Band will still play The Victors even though we are getting our shit pushed in. At some point they need to realize morale is beyond salvation and learn to STFU.

I don't see how things can get much worse.  Hoke does not seem competent in managing games let alone the team.  Last year was a joke to see how the team was handled during the Penn St, Iowa, Nebraska and Northwestern games.

When we don't have bowl practices or a coach in a few months you'll wish this was one of the last few years. It's much worse than 2011,12 and even last year. Pretty much since the Notre dame game last year we have gotten worse every game.
