David Perkins who was playing LB for them is leaving so that potentially open up another spot at LB.
Ringer has left us, too. We shall see.
Let's just call him P#43.
Ferns is on the case. Guess he is buddies with Winovich. Or at least has become buddies with said Winovich.
Ferns is a recruiting machine. Ann Arbor is almost 5 hours from his hometown and it seems like he's there every weekend! I love his dedication.
is a great comment and deserves more plusses. There were rumours/promises that the old upvote system was coming back, what happened?
no Peppers??!!?! The PSU rumours must be true! Does anyone know of a nearby cliff?
In recruiting you never know. How many times have we been surprised before, especially when a kid's time table was much later.
I fully expect all of them to commit. Even the ones who are already committed. They should re-up their commitment!
Beat me to it. I think this weekend was set up to give Winovich the first chance at it and then bring in Watson soon after if Winovich doesn't make the commitment. It's kind of like the Dan Samuleson commitment. There was a guy on campus (Cameron Hunt, I think?) they were probably looking at ahead of Samuleson, he ends up not committing and suprise, Samulsen commits soon after.
This weekend will be Winovich's chance to pull the trigger. If not, then it is expected that Watson will on his visit. I like the coaches "sh#&% or get of the toilet" approach. I like the strategically placed Watson visit on the 20th(?). This should give a little extra motivation to Winovich to make up his mind. If he decides to keep looking around then Watson is a good alternative. Would they take both with the departure of Ringer?
It sounds like he was referring to Lawrence Marshall.
I think the fact that Chase Winovich is being recruited by the Water Boy will sway the young man into the Maize and Blue. I like our chances, Coach Mattison v. The Water Boy... Ann Arbor v. Columbus...
Go Blue!
Baker is no longer attending, per Lorenz at 247.
That sucks. Is that the second week in a row now?
Yup.
