Week 2 Depth Chart (pdf)
All three QBs are still "OR". Yes, LOL.
As noted below and in Tim's Monday Presser post, while Jared Van Slyke is listed as the backup FS, he's out for the season with an injury making Vlad Emilien the backup.
The official depth chart does not note player status, so unlike the note in the RIvals link which noted that Carvin Johnson is doubtful (but didn't note the same thing for Roundtree), there is no mention of these things.
Other analysis?
[Edit: Sics added in series records blockquote per Blue in South Bend's eagle eye.]

RR says Van slyke is out for the year. There is a mistake in the depth chart
September 6th, 2010 at 12:47 PM ^
I thought I just read somewhere that Van Slyke was out for the year. Carvin was "very doubtful" and Roy Roundtree was doubtful.
Shouldn't these things be noted on the Week 2 Depth Chart.

and someone mentioned that Roundtree was coughing up blood. Possible internal bruising. I'm assuming that is a mistake on the depth chart and that Roundtree is doubtful.

i was at the game and just returned home from a long and incredibly sleepless road trip last night. Trying to get caught up on everything you miss when you're wasted and in the stands surrounded by 113,000+ plus like minded friends. I only mention this caveat as a reason for why i don't know this...
When and how did Roy get hurt?
September 6th, 2010 at 1:04 PM ^
he got drilled by a UConn corner in the 2nd half. Had to be helped off the field.

under his own power.

My coaches always called that a hospital pass. Hopefully he will be back and ready to go after resting this week.

2nd half, got hung out to dry a bit by denard, however UConn corner./safety made a nice read and absolutely tattoo'd him.. looked like he got the wind kncoked out would not be suprised by a broken rib.

am I the only that was a bit taken back how dirty UConn plays? The UConn defenders were leading with their helmets all game. When Denard got tagged on his hip, it was from a hit from a UConn helmet.

I thought they got away with a couple of borderline late hits on Denard. As his national profile goes up, I think we'll see him draw more of those penalties down the road.

Economists call this "The LeBron Effect"

this deep bruising is the case
September 6th, 2010 at 1:05 PM ^
The "or" under the QB position should have an asterisk with a footnote that reads LOL.

I remember the depth charts under Carr having lots of mistakes, too. I get the sense that they're filled out by some low-level staffer.
September 6th, 2010 at 2:19 PM ^
If that's true, that's not exactly an excuse. Low level does not equal incompetent.

At Michigan Stadium: Series tied 8-6
Record at Notre Dame: Michigan leads 8-8-1
Last 10 Games: U-M leads 5-5
I'm a little rusty on my inequalities, but... yeah.

Must have been written by a low-level staffer
