Title pretty much says it all for us.

Some other rankings of interest:

  • FSU retains #1 and Bama retains #2 (despite close games for both), the rest of hte top 5 remains unchanged as well.
  • MSU at #6, up 2 from last week (they'll be playing Oregon this week, who is ranked 4th)
  • Ohio is at #7, down one from last week.
  • ND was ranked 15th, up two.
  • Nebraska went up 4 spots to 18th
  • Wisconsin dropped 5 places to #19 after losing to LSU

Polls are fun for speculation and something to talk/argue about and I usually get sucked into this as well but I’m not even going to worry about polls until msu game.  Things will sort themselves out.

Honestly, why should I care about teams that are going to be ranked below UM at the end of the year?

This leaves me slightly unsettled... because I think we are better than 30..as in 17....and MSU not top 10, but around 13..... but surely its gotta be bias on my part...because every time I thought this over the years, the poll has been more accurate than me....   and the Oregon game for MSU....this may be their biggest game in my lifetime.. for if they win, it may legitimize them  in the next step in trying to be a national power.... and so far Dantoni is making all the right moves...  Though I do think alot of it is Cook, who is as poised as they come.
