Wayne Lyons - Official Visit to M Scheduled for December 3rd
Apparently Mr. Lyons will be on campus for an official the weekend of 12/3 according to Rivals:

And according to Mr. Lyons himself:

Would've been nice to get the 12/10 visit(Nebraska instead) because of all the other recruits coming in for the Big Chill, but if the man is coming to campus, the interest has to be somewhat sincere. Been a good day on the recruiting front

His twitter account shows good character. He would be an excellent catch for our team, and not just because he makes plays on the field. Hopefully he goes Blue after all is said and done!

Me happy.

he'd bring the wood out there.
Lyons is hard-hitting, physical defensive back with all the tools needed to develop into a great strong safety at major college level. Lacks a few inches of ideal height but is well-built, strong with coveted toughness.

Amazing week last week with NCAA and Illinois win. Dallas committed and possibly Watkins to follow. Wayne Lyons visiting is huge, we're in the ball game. And we are gonna roast Purdue tomorrow! What a swing in emotions from 2 weeks ago. Let's keep this rolling through the OSU game. Go Blue! Things are looking up!

Yeah..I am definitely feeling much better than I did in the violence inducing loss to PSU.

Agree, especially to see the stadium filled to capacity.
I hope we can land this kid, he seems like a stand-up guy and an excellent player. Rival's only issues with him are his backpedaling and muscle mass... both of which Barwis can easily take care of.
Fingers crossed!

to stretch his frame at will by 2 inches can only help on the playing field, too!

The Tony Jefferson comparison is telling. A strong finish to the season will help things along.

Isn't Wayne Lyons also kind of a brainiac? I remember people making Myron Rolle comparisons.
If so, yes please.

Either has a 4.0 or above and is interested in enrolling in engineeering. He is one of those rare prospects that has both elite talent and elite brain power. This is why I think we will land him. I love it when a recruit is truly interested in gaining a premier education. How could someone like this not want a free Engineering degree from a program like Michigan. So excited he will be on campus.
