WAY OT: No.9 Hamburgers a new "Nine Spot"

Submitted by No.9 Hamburgers on

Thank you to all of the MGoBloggers that came thru No.9 for the Michigan Delaware St game. We are STILL looking for Brian so we can hook him up. Also Brian if you are out there...if you have a banner...I would be more than happy to display the mgoblog banner.

At any rate, we are planning on putting No.9 Hamburgers or or "Nine Spots" in different campus locations. This would be for daily grub. We are also looking to do pre-bar and after-bar hrs... I am way out of the loop on bar times.

You folks know the streets better than we do...so the question is...Where would you like to see a “Nine Spot”? What streets have better student traffic...also what are good times during the afternoon...pre-bar and post bar?

Any help you folks can offer up would be great.
Thank You

Bars close at 2 am. The best spot would be on the corner of south U, and church st. That way you get the bar crowd from ricks, charley's, jug, blue lep and the five ppl at mitch's.

Agree with tedbundy98, though setting up in the area may prove difficult as sidewalk space is somewhat limited on that corner. Perhaps at the end of the East Hall - West Hall corridor right off of South U as it's close to South U/Church St and has more space. Good luck with your business venture. Hell, I may have to make plans for a bar night in A2 just so I can have some late night deliciousness.

OMG, can you just set up in my back yard? I'm embarrassed to say this is the first I've heard of you. Went to your blog and saw the burger pic... I may have to change my gameday routine! That looks insanely delicious. Please update us when you get set with a location.

Maybe corner of State/N. University? Catch some diag traffic, or others partying in the downtown area.

South u and state st, doesn't get that much foot traffic from the bar crowd and i doubt people would make the trip down there with all the other food spots @ the church st area. You would get some frat/house party traffic, but not as much in the colder months. The bar crowd will always be there, on state street you have quickie burger which has indoor seating and would hurt your sales in the colder months. Church st, has no late night burger spot and year round drunk kids.

You know, now that I think about it, I recall telling you guys this saturday after my second Big Nine (1 pregame, 1 post) that you could make millions selling these on days other than football saturdays.

Coincidence?

We will be cooking up breakfast burgers at 9:00am for the Michigan vs. PSU game if anyone has started drinking by then. Serving up breakfast burgers...hey they are just like sausage in the morning.

This might slow things down a bit on the grill, but I would probably hurt a few casual acquaintances in order to get a fried egg on my pre- and post-game Double 9. Like a lot of other people here, I think that your burgers are the best in AA. And while it's not entirely clear that I need more of an incentive to eat 4 patties of beef on game days, I'd be all about a fried egg.
