Water Polo channels MBB (Beats Indiana 9-8 in OT)

A clutch conference win on the road for the Michigan Women's Water Polo team! Junior Kelsey Nolan's hat trick helped power M to a comeback OT win over our biggest conference rival, Indiana. (Indiana is the only other B1G team in our conference/division for water polo.) 

2 years ago, a group of us made the 6 or 7 hour journey down to Bloomington to witness another 1-goal victory over the hated Hoosiers, so this brought back some good memories. If  Michigan wins the CWPA Western Division championship, the CWPA Eastern Conference championship and a trip to the NCAA tournament is at stake at home in Canham Natatorium the last weekend of April.

Congrats to WPolo coach Matt Anderson, who has THE hardest recruiting job at UM, he has to convince a bunch of high school girls from California to come to Michigan for college instead of Stanford, UCLA, UCSB and other glorious places for tanning. All the water polo talent is on the west coast as top LAX players is all from the mid Atlantic. Not to mention, he has to go head-to-head with Princeton and Harvard for those players that want to go outside Cali. He wins the division almost every year.
