Watch This: How Trey Burke became Trey Burke.
This is from "Trey Burke Journey to Ann Arbor". Watch this from the 6:55 mark all the way through. His little soliloquy at 11:35 is awesome.
When I first saw this a couple of years ago, I thought to myself: "Who is this little guy who apparently is not good enough to be recruited by Ohio State, talking about winning the National Championship for Michigan? We're lucky just to make the Tournament at all.
Still, I like his confidence. He seems to have a presence about him . . . "

I knew once I saw these he was going to be great.
The recipicant.
His home planet was destroyed, and he was sent to Earth where he gained special powers because of the light of our yellow sun.
The "bleed out" jersey's, although nearly impossible to look at, was an attempt by Adidas to mimic the color of the sun for Burke. Thank you for helping me fully understand those uniforms.
No chance we don't get 100% effort from him tonight. That's what I love. It'll suck if we don't end up winning tonight, but it'd be disappointment in the result more than anything. Can't be mad when we've got kids like this giving every last ounce of effort every time they hit the floor.
gøôöòóœøōõ błûüùúūeèéêëeēeėę!
Greatness takes a lot of hard work, sacrifice, and dedication. Love the foresight, dream, vision, etc. ect. This guy's special.
Talent is Overrated should be required reading in every middle school.
It is incredibly refreshing to have kids like Trey and Denard as part of our programs; great athletes and genuinely good people who deserve all the good that life has to offer.
Trey or Denard?
Trey I think. Denard helped the image and was key in a number of games (UTL most prominently). But Trey really pulled the entire program into the spot light. He took Stu and Zack's work and brought it to the next level.
I don't like seeing him wear green.
Is that a way to cap off a college career or what? Wait a minute, there's one more goal!
Go Blue!
Trey Burke: bringing you your first championship since 1989.
Loved that part.
...but it doesn't seem to get old, and it is appropriate to see the "Journey To Ann Arbor" stuff again today. We have been very fortunate to have Trey Burke here in Ann Arbor, and his work ethic and effort and drive have been paid in the form of a Final Four appearance for the Wolverines and nearly every known collegiate basketball award this season. Truly a special player and person.
Guess Derrick Nix was right, Trey Burke is a God.
were at my high school. Shoutout to Hilliard Davidson. Cool video! Thanks for the memories Trey
