Want to see ND game? (Or any other?) 4 game tix packages available

Submitted by M-Wolverine on
First time ever, the Athletic Department is selling 4 game ticket packages with one each to ND, Nebraska or OSU, plus 3 others. Tiered purchase order, but this might be the chance to see the game you want at face value (plus 3 more games). http://www.mgoblue.com/tickets/fbl-single-game.html#packs

i bought the 3 game pack last year and was quite happy with them. im going to try and get the ND pack if they have it.

Would also be looking to trade a game set with another person so i'd have 4 to one of the game so i could take my brother his kid and my dad.

Whats the best way to buy tickets at face value? Would this be it? And if I wanted to buy individual tickets from UM on July 18th when they come out, how would that work? Would I just have to be really fast?

Victors Club members, then current season ticket holders, then they go to the general public.  They've already sold a quite a few two game packs for either ND or Nebraska to alumni association members.  I know ProfitGoBlue was trying to get ND games, had his application delivered on the first day they were accepting applications and was already too late for the ND package because they had a huge line outside the ticket office before the FedEx/UPS/Mail deliveries even arrived.

If you want a big game, this is it, unless you're willing to risk waiting to right before kickoff. If you want an off game, you can probably get tickets to just that game individually, or wait till game week and get them cheaper than face value (from students or scalpers).

Considering how fast the 2 game packs went, all 3 packages will be sold out before they hit the General Public date of July 11th.  I wouldn't be surprised if they're gone before the July 5th season ticket sale deadline.

If there is anyone in the Victors Club willing to sell me their tickets, I would love to set up a deal with someone where they buy 2 Notre Dame Packs for me, I will pay the entire fee, and they can keep all of the tickets except the Notre Dame game.

I am planning to be in town for that weekend only.  If anyone is interested, let me know.

To be a Victors Club member you have to already have priority points and I think the donations for this year were due at the end of January.  In terms of individual tickets on July 18th, I say good luck.  There is often a few games that may be available via individual ticket i.e. EMU, SDSU, Minn and Purdue.  WMU may or may not be.  I am surprised to see that the ticket packages are at $295, I was hoping for a break in the price.  However, I am happy to see that you can buy 4 packages.  I know I will be going for the ND one.  I am not trying to be that guy that is selling tickets on here but because I will have 6 EMU tix, 4 extra WMU tix and 4 extra Purdue or Minn tix I would be willing to help you out if you are worried about getting tix to any of these games let me know your email address.

Given Nebraska's reputaiton for travel, I think it's important that Victor's Club and season ticket holders buy the Nebraska pack out before it gets to the general public.  We really don't need a sea of red.

I have a bad feeling about that one.  Fortunately, they play Penn State the week before, which may attract some fans who would otherwise go to the Michigan game.  But I'm afraid a lot of Husker fans will be circling Michigan as the big road game to go to in their first season in the Big Ten.  And I don't think we'll be able to keep them out, just like Notre Dame couldn't when they played Nebraska a few years ago.

Hopefully OSU fans will be down this year because of the meteor currently landing on their program, and they won't show up in as large numbers as they have been lately.  The only thing worse than a sea of red is two in a row.

for ND and Nebraska is certainly a great deal.

However, $70 for EMU, WMU, SDSU, Minn, and Purdue is comical.

Next's years season ticket package is going to be grossly overpriced.

Agree with the others but I think WMU might be worth the $70.  Hoke's first game, the first chance to see this offense and defense.  There is a lot of interest in that game or should be and if I didnt have season tix I would pay face value for that ticket.  I think if you sell the other you take a minimal loss for the fact that you arent paying to much over face value for the big game.

But even those bad games aren't that bad. You're right about WMU, and the first game is always an exciting one, just because it's baaccckkk! EMU sucks 7 ways to Sunday for sure, but SDSU has some of the former team intrigue, and should be halfway decent.  Minnesota is for the Brown Jug, and Purdue might not be very good...but considering we haven't done too well against them lately, I can't completely call that a snoozer.

I'm covered for Nebraska and Ohio State, and the only other game I'll be back for is Notre Dame.  To get them in one of those packs I'm better off hustling one outside.

The tix for the two "off" games were actually really stellar (section 24, row 10 for BGSU) and I was able to sell the tix for the two "off games" for enough $ so that i attended MSU game for the face value of the tickets.  Watched a Sparty chick and a M blue-hair have a hair-pulling knock-down right in front of us in Section 18, along with D-Rob's end zone interception in the first quarter.  Ugh. . .

It's starting to look like this years notre dame game might be the toughest ticket to get ever. I'm thinking even a greater demand than for the 97 osu game.

Going to try and get ND tix (ha!) but most likely going after OSU tickets...godamnit I am going to see a win 0-2/ 0-3 if you count the M/OSU hockey game I went too.

that some of those 4 game packs make it to the public. I would love to get any of them, but ND is the one I've really got my eyes on. I've only been to three UM vs. OSU games in my life, and that would also kick major ass. (BTW I saw that movie, Kick Ass, a couple days ago and was surprised that it was good) Anyhoo, someone pray with me that some of these badass ticket packages make it until July 11th. I can't wait to see Hoke's new era start off right with some slaying of our biggest rivals. Go Blue!!!

How did people do on getting tickets?  I was able to get 2 tickets for the ND package, I ended up choosing the Minnesota and Purdue game.
