Wallpaper Season - Northwestern
I'm going to bed..enjoy a wallpaper, my MGoBrethren. No mobile version yet. I'll try to get that done tomorrow. I'll try to do a diary write-up with background, etc. on this wallpaper, but it's pretty self-explanatory. Sorry for the drop-off in quality this week, I am battling the flu. Go Blue! Beat Northwestern!

Not only does Michigan possess a world-conquering D-Line, but every major opponent's offense can be greatly hindered by stopping the run. Michigan State and Ohio State could theoretically beat us through the air, but OSU's QB situation doesn't seem stable and MSU's Oline is in shambles. I still think Michigan looses at LEAST one of those games, but winning each game is not implausible.

jonvalk - who was the subject in the original painting that you used for the following wallpaper?
Hand in the jacket makes me think it may be Napoleon, but I'm no art history major. Thanks.

Actually, it's a painting by Ivan Makarov, from 1861, of General Nikolai G. Kazankov. You can see the original here.
I mainly chose it for the decent quality and it fit what I wanted to do.
