Wallpaper Offseason - Scenic Michigan Stadium

Submitted by jonvalk on

Ok, so another quick wallpaper post before I head back to more baby duty (yes, I know it never really ends).  I made this wallpaper in the style of a vintage travel poster.  I think it'd be cool to do a whole series of these for our away games (which if I get the chance to, I might try to get them done pre-season) and then compile them into one giant wallpaper set.  Anyway, the usual disclaimers, etc.  Hope you like it.  Go Blue!

Just not those particular things the rest of it is pretty coold like the whole theme of what it's saying. I also feel loke it's not as exciting of a field shot as it could be. But again, I do like the rest of it all, and what i said is just a matter or friendly opinion.

Keep in mind though, whther I or anyone else may not like it as mich as you do, it's still YOUR art, so just be happy and proud of it as long as you like it! Cool to see that you can take some constructive criticism though (for lack of a better word). You seem like a great guy!

I do LIKE how you want to make it vintage. I just personally think that it doesn't quite do it here. You were close for sure, but it almost looks too artificial imo. I can't put my hands on as to why, unforunately, so that I can help you out. But again, MY opinion, which doesn't mean jack squat haha.

The best I can say as to why it doesn't do it for me is because the blurred look ( i have no idea what to call it lol) doesn't look vintage to me as much as it could by using something else, and again, i just don't like the brownish bezzle. And MAYBE a better shot of the big house, BUT that could just be because most of it is blurred so it just doesnt look as beautiul. I guess this is my way of doing art, without actually doing art lol. So just tale what I say as a grain of salt please. This is what happens when I get bored.
