Ugh, doesn't anyone read this board? If Jake wins any kind of award, the renown will go to his head. He will then think himself better than everyone else. At that point, we will lose all the rest of our games. ANY kind of positive reinforcement must be avoided at all costs...

We could also always nominate Oregon - as an inverse to Travis Wilson's performance - as being the most impactful team in that they talked their way out of the Top 25 in some polls and on many ballots and out of the Top 20 at least on many major metrics. All it took was a game where - justly so - they were thoroughly out-Ducked.

Travis Wilson had a better individual game (I mean, come on, 227 passing yards, 100 rushing, 5 TDs), that said it was very nice to see Jake make great decisions and command the offense.
