Vote for Kovacs to win walk-on player of the year award

http://burlsworthtrophy.com/ click on the link to vote for Kovacs so he can win the Burlsworth Trophy. It's given to the best walk-on player of the year. Right now, Kovacs only has 1% of the votes and Mcgloin leads with 44% and there's only 3 days left to vote. Kovacs really deserves this award so it'd be great if everyone could vote.

Easy vote for Jordan. He started as a freshman and made meaningful contributions in the midst of a giant tire fire. McGloin did not succeed until removed from a tire fire.

"*The Fan Vote counts as 5% during each round of voting and it is combined with the results from the Selection Committee. Fans can cast their vote for the nation’s most outstanding player who began his career as a Walk-on once per day. Fan Vote totals are cleared after each round."

Not sure what constitutes "each round" but 5% of one round (assuming there are multiple rounds) may not be the dagger it appears to be. Kovacs should win this thing hands down.

We have more people then that on MGoBlog alone. If everyone on here votes, Kovacs should get there no problem. Ditto if we can get the rivals community on board as well.

A quick survey of the user listings show 13,424 users with accounts (30 per page x 447 full pages +14 on the last one). Obviously, many of them are users who either post infrequently or are on some level of Bolivian, but yeah, this board could definitely be a force in voting.

That being said, I managed to vote before the site crashed.

Jordan still 6th (!?!).  Down to McGloin by just under 3400 votes, but we get more people on each live blog than that!

Looks like the page is down... I was hoping to try to write something in python to "help" the numbers a bit.  I wonder if other bots have beat us to it.

must get the michigan alumni base mobilised.

reading the descriptions of the finalists, there are only a handful that come close to jordan.  good thing the fan vote is only 5%.
