Jordan Kovacs was announced as a finalist for the Burlsworth Trophy awarded to the most outstanding walk-on in the country. 

The other two finalists are mcgloin from penn state and david quessenberry from san jose state.

McGloin will win the fan vote in a landslide, because he's the only guy of the three that most people have heard of. Nonetheless, I think Kovacs deserves it over McGloin, who isn't even one the best QBs in the conference, much less the country. OTOH, Kovacs is probably the best SS in the Big Ten.

He threw for more yards and TDs than anyone else in the conference.  Kovacs had the better career but c'mon, McGloin set those records with his top RB at USC and top WR playing elsewhere.

Also, McGloin won't win in a landslide, if at all, because of the hate still thrown at PSU.

And put on the homepage board.  Kovacs is an awesome player and person, and deserves this award.  GO VOTE!
