Vote DG for Mr. Football
Voting for Mr. Football has opened, and Devin needs our help. No way he doesn't win if the MGoBlogosphere gets behind him.

I'm a confirmed voter.

I also confirmed and it is still at 10%
Although what that means is beyond me. Even if you add up the 4 candidates it adds up to less than 25%.

DG is now in the lead at 10%

Here's what I would do:
Set up a site with a poll of some sort, pertaining to an issue on which all of the people who would vote on it are likely in a certain demographic. People would go on message boards and promote my site for me, because, something is at stake that they care about. I could even doctor the poll results to make it look close no matter what so people felt compelled to vote early, often, and tell everyone they know. And I would require an email address... because even though people can circumvent the system and vote multiple times because everyone has like 10 email addresses these days, asking for an email address makes it look like I'm running a legitimate poll where accurate results matter.
Then I would take the email addresses I'd harvested, and since they're all of pretty much the same demographic.... say... 18-35 year old upper middle class males... and sell them to internet marketers who market to that demographic as pre-qualified leads. *If* I were an internet marketer.
(By the way I'm not saying that's what's happening here. But, the fact that I've never heard of the company that this website belongs to, have never heard of a "Mr. Football" being awarded in Michigan, and the fact that the total poll results add up to 29% - shouldn't it add up to 100%? - make me suspicious.)

I didn't think there was a Michigan Mr. Football award, and a Google search of that term didn't offer much evidence for one.
As for the 29% . . . could that be the share of the marketer's quota this poll has reached?

Devin is now second again to Chris Robinson (12% to 13%).
