I hate polls that offer daily voting from the same people. What happened to polls that allowed one vote per person forever? The only times that seems in play are elections.

I put my vote in for today.

I also distributed this poll to a few other people around here so they can vote as well. Hopefully, they send it along to their friends and so on down the chain, eh?

Thanks for the reminder on this, incidentally.

Of course, Fred Hoiberg and the national American Heart Association is back in first by a huge margin. I'm sure the AHA is doing distros to all their mailing lists asking people to vote, because hey - they don't get nearly enough donations in any given year, unlike those local charities which are practically swimming in riches.

I know I shouldn't be bitter about this, but it seems unfair to the locals who really are strapped for cash and awareness. All the more reason why I appreciate seeing names like St. Louis Center, Wichita Children's Home, Nacadoches Area United Way, Abide, and Ronald McDonald House of Dayton. And whatever you think of Tom Crean, Tatum's Bags of Fun just sounds awesome (they distribute games, toys, crafts to cancer kids).

You can ask me to post every day, but I might not.

Follow @St_Louis_Center on twitter to get reminders.

Or find them on Facebook. They post a lot, too.
