I had to laugh at how serious Hecklinski was the entire time...

...until Karsch said thanks at the end, and then Hecklinski got a big, goofy smile on his face.

Also, he's got kind of a strange voice...

...but I like his "no excuses" attitude and if he's replacing Chris Singletary, he must be pretty good at what he does, because I thought Singletary was a good recruiting coordinator.

"It puts the lotion on its skin..." is the first thing I thought of when I heard him.

Sounds like an awesome guy though. Of course we're gonna get it done, what kind of stupid question is that, this is Michigan.

"No excuses"...I love it.

The staff is all about this program and want to bring us back to "This Is Michigan".  Good things are on the horizon for us as fans and the Michigan football program.  Strap your seat belts on, it's going to be a fun ride!

You've got to love this group of coach's commitment to "no excuses".  I love how at the end he said, "we WILL get the recruits."  So far they seem to be living up to that promise.

Chris Singletary wiil probably go back to his old position as an administrative recruiting coordinator.  He got a lot involved as a recruiting focal point in the past three weeks because Rich Rod and his staff were let go and BH and staff were brand new (except for Fred Jackson).

If DB didn't like him, he would have been let go when Rich Rod was let go.

Wow!  According to thefollowing link, he has a EE degree.

LOVE the intensity.

I know ths is OT but watching this interview I couldn't help but see the Adidas logo the whole time on his jacket. Does anyone know if we will ever go back to Nike? I've heard in the past that a coaching staff has nothing to do with this decision.

There's a contract with Adidas for I think another 3-4 years. If Nike offers more than Adidas once that expires, I'm sure they'll go back to Nike.

If I was a recruit he would have sold me already. I loved how he is truely passionate about wanting to find kids who know the level of greatness that will come with restoring the program.
