Nothin wrong with that
It's better than the Monet Lisa
Yeah, but is it better than Joe Bolden's flow will be after a few years in a college strength and conditioning program?
Huh?
Freshman Sione Houmet and Kicker Matt Wilette are confused.
I love this team.

Jake Ryan is Thor
where did you see him?
Thor couldn't hold Jake Ryan's hammer...umm, I mean jock.
Is that Ben Braden in the tank top around the 10 second mark? Big boy whoever he is.
EDIT: I do believe it is Gunderson no Braden.
Just want to say that your website is fantastic. Along with Wolverine Historian, Michigan may have the best sources for videos out of any team in the country.
Thanks. It looks like whoever does the mgoblue official youtube has finally accepted that we're better at doing their job than they are.
... I thought mgovideo WAS the official YT channel of MGoBlue haha. Mad props :)
Did somebody say FOOOOOOTBAWWWWW!?
This team has some talented players. Should be fun to watch. Their collective attitude is about the team and that is great.
I really agree man. The back seven is deep, experienced, and very instinctive. It has to make you wonder what the defense is going to be like if that D-line is consistent.
To change topic, has Kovacs' draft chances ever been discussed here? I can't say I remember seeing the topic.
IMO Kovacs has a chance at the NFL, but he will need to break in on special teams. He has the kind of drive and tackling ability to make an impact there. He could end up being a Bill Bates type...long NFL career on special teams, IMO.
Im not sure he has the quickness and lateral movement to be a full time safety in the NFL...but the again guys like Kurt Schultz did it (former Lion) without a ton of athletic ability. Brains and tackling skills can take a guy a long way at the strong safety position.
08/03/12 - Top-five Michigan prospects for the 2013 NFL Draft: 4. SS Jordan Kovacs...One of the more inspirational stories in college football, Kovacs went from recruiting afterthought to walk-on to All-Conference defender. An All-Ohio selection out of the Toledo area, he struggled to receive looks from any FBS-level programs and decided to walk on for the Wolverines, the same path his father took nearly 20 years earlier. Kovacs always knew he had what it took to play in the Big Ten and dreamed of playing in the ‘Big House' and after a few tryouts in 2009, the Michigan coaching staff gave him a chance. He worked his way into the starting line-up as a freshman and started eight games, recording 75 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss and one interception. Kovacs had his best season in 2010 as a sophomore (13 starts), finishing with a career-best 116 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss and a pair of interceptions. He started a dozen games last year and had another productive season, earning All-Big Ten Honorable Mention honors. Kovacs is a savvy defender with a nose for the ball and the football attitude that endears him to coaches and teammates. He fills run lanes well, taking fast, accurate angles to the ball with an aggressive playing style. Kovacs is more of a downhill player who is limited in coverage and struggles when forced to turn his back to the action. He might be a liability in man coverage, but his approach to the game and overachieving attitude will find him a home at the next level. Kovacs might not be a top-100 pick next April, but he is at-worst a special teams stud who will probably exceed expectations, the same way he has done in Ann Arbor. - Dane Brugler, NFLDraftScout.com

So Excited!!
Guitar in training camp? What, is there a campfire with hot dogs?
read books, too!
Someone has to teach the freshmen "the victors."
looks like he is getting seconds. Cant wait to see him in Sep.
It is getting somewhat harder to wait for the opener with the video clips now coming out in full force.
I like how Barnum put it in perspective really - this is a month to worry about Michigan and getting better and developing, and then, in the week before that game, you worry about Alabama. There seems to be a drive on this team to strive for improvement, that you can always be better. I like the motivation they seem to have coming into camp this week.
I don't know if this is thread worthy, or has already been said by someone, but it looks like the roster weights have been updated on mgoblue. Some of the weights are slightly different than the weights reported a few days ago.
Jake Ryan will confuse runningbacks by his amazing flow. This is the peg in our game that we've been needing.
I saw Blake Countess and Tamani Carter moving out of Stockholm earlier. Also, I'm happy camp is starting but I miss having the freshmen around the dorm. Great guys and fun to be around.

Is that PeeWee stepping up to the buffet line at 1:31?
August 6th, 2012 at 12:19 AM ^
That buffet looked pretty appetizing...
yes i thought so too... the way Pipkins was eyeballing it, he must be thinking "damn i can get used to this college football"
From what I saw at The Women's Football Academy, it looks like he's already slimmed down a little.
